A man with a heart condition who was just standing watching was pushed over by a police officer, this eventually led to his death. It was caught on camera.

The ironic part? The person filming him (and the police officers) was breaking a law in the first place by filming the police.

Well, I'm a liberal. I didn't support Iraq, that was bullshit from day one. I almost lost relatives there and I'm not certain what for (IEDs). I supported Afghanistan but it is abundantly clear to me our military leadership is braindead and full of shit. The Pentagon gets whatever they demand and what returns to we get? We haven't won shit since WW2. Sadly veterans feel antagonized along with their families. It makes no fucking sense. I have no issue with fighting men, but I have a ton against the leadership and the defense industry.

Let me make it clear: I am liberal, yes. I AM NOT some antiwar kid with a fucking hoolahoop. Get in school, study, organize, vote. That's how you change stuff. These protestors make us all look like the childish retards the right wing loves to portray us as. Thanks for nothing assholes. Ohhh but you're peaceful! Yes, peaceful and very dumb looking. Perception is everything.

That being said, police brutality it never justified. If they're allowed to do it to one person, they'll do it to anyone. The day the cops beat on everyone is the day I start shooting.

While I agree about how they shouldn't have gassed those random people doing nothing, let me point out something..

It was a RIOT. Not a protest, a riot. The RIOT police had every right to end it and when they didn't stop the police really should have done what they did. Not only that, but I doubt an unpeaceful riot is a very good place to be as a president.

I wasn't saying that the Riot police shouldn't have stopped the actual rioters. What was completely unacceptable was them attacking innocent passersby and people who were trying to follow orders to disperse. How exactly are you supposed to "leave the area and go back to your place of residence" when the police are preventing you from getting out of the area and/or back to your place of residence?

I would never just trust one source, especially on a subject such as this...Especially when the source is heavily biased like this one seems...Now I am just reporting my findings after a few minutes of internet searching...

After sifting through the comments...I came across a couple saying that the crowd was blocking a fire truck...Several outlets are saying this...Now honestly, if you are blocking a FIRE TRUCK you need to be moved and moved at that moment...Now obviously the blogs are saying one of two things, no fire truck or they had gotten out of the way...That immediately flags up something isn't right...it's kinda hard not to notice if there is a big red truck with sirens or not...

It makes me remember a thing Arizona used to do when an ambulance was sent out...A cop car was sent with it and if you didn't pull over the cop had permission to force your car to the side of the road, bumping you if it took that...Someone complained, judge threw the case out and said that if the complainer had needed an ambulance he wouldn't want anyone in the way either...

I am just saying that there is always more than one viewpoint on something like this and to get the true story you have to dig a bit deeper...I recognize the protesters right to gather, and the force exerted seems a bit harsh...But if there was a fire truck (and it seriously seems like there was) then they NEEDED to be moved...And if they wouldn't comply, then force is necessary...
