I agree. This is a film that, if you never see you will have lost out.

Its concept and story are so unique and it screws with your mind so much! I remember watching it, and, even to this date, I think its one of the best independent films out there.

It's pretty good. After all I'd heard about it, I was pretty underwhelmed, though. I can appreciate surrealism, but sometimes you're just being weird for the sake of being weird.

Yeah, one of the bests movies I've ever seen.

But if you watch it, DON'T watch the director's cut edition.

I've seen it. Didn't really like it. It wasn't bad or anything and I can understand why people do like it, but for me, there are so many better movies out there.

What a succinct review. It's in the wrong section, however.

Great film regardless. I commend your taste.

Eh, I finally caved and watched it with a friend of mine. To be honest I just didn't find it interesting at all. It was unique, I'll give it that much but I just felt bored while watching it.

Everyone told me it was a complicated, confusing and conceptual storyline...

Nope

He wakes up on a spot on a hill which he had timetravelled from into this alternate, temporary reality. He comes to realise this reality is unsustainable, and travels back into the real timeline, where he is killed by the thing he narrowly missed in the alternate timeline which caused the break-off in continuity, restoring the balance

Awesome film, though

Why not? Does it have a crappy alternate ending?

And now watch the sequel!

I was kidding! For the love of God, DON'T!!

Excellent movie, Donnie Darko. I've seen it a few times over the years, and every time I've watched it it holds up just as well.

I heard the hype surrounding it before I saw the film, I suppose that coloured my opinion of it somewhat as I didn't find it to be as good as I was told. It was still enjoyable though.

Sorry, not one of my favorites. It's definitely a unique movie, which was nice but overall not for me

The movie is unique as the dickens, but that doesn't make it good. Not to me, anyway. I didn't enjoy it all that much when I watched it, although I understood it (it's not really that hard...) I found it bland and boring.

This movie is decent, but it doesn't deserve all the praise it gets. It's a weird movie, and while weird movies are great, they're often mistaken for deep movies, and that's just not the case here.

This is a good movie, but it's not saying anything particularly profound.
