Looks like a variation of Wes Craven's They. Which I found ultimately disappointing, even if it did make me even more paranoid of the dark.

Like showers... and The Grudge plus The Ring.

EDIT:

Don't Be Afraid of the Dark is apparently a remake of an old 1975 movie that was immediately aired on television. Hmm...

I'll keep an eye on this one.

horror movies today are just a murderer, really stupid victims, jump scares, and gore.
Marble hornets has none of that. It's truly an amazing film.

Apparently the creators are planning on a part 2...

Horror films are scary!
The whole point of the movie is to instill fear, which I don't find entertaining. And if they don't, then the movie is just stupid, which is even worse.
I don't like a movie that when I go home I have to look at cute animal pictures before bed so I don't worry about being murdered in my sleep.

Edit: I'm such a wuss. I couldn't make it past the creepy voice whispering to me.

Looks creepy. I'll probably see it.

Horror movies today? I think some of them are pretty good, and others pretty disgustingly terrible*. But otherwise most of them are good, though the more "mainstream" ones are pretty pathetic. No strong opinion really, there are enough good ones out there to keep me entertained for the moment.

Why do people like being scared? Last horror movie I saw was White Noise and it wasn't bad but I can't watch this stuff.
I watch them out of sheer boredom. I've never really liked those horror films that are supposedly true. Most others, I kinda like. The zombie/monster flicks. But, honestly, I enjoy some good comedy, action, or thriller flicks.
Stuff like zombies and monsters and scooby doo doesn't bother me and I actually like horror games like silent hill, but disturbing movies like Saw or movies that try to make you jump with loud noise and sudden scary image don't entertain me at all.

Yeah, I don't fancy gorefests either. Most of it is really bland to me. Now, Silent Hill. Oh ho ho, don't even get me started.

Oh hell yes. This news practically makes me giggle with glee.

It's been awhile since I saw a Del Toro film.

Ha, no way. If you don't already know what it's about, a perverted German surgeon captures these two 20-something year old American girls along with a Japanese tourist and combines them from Ass-to-mouth-to-ass to form a human centipede.

The movie tries to be all "innovative" but it's really just slow moving, with no real scary scenes at all. The movie just tries to gross you out, and fails. Apart from one scene when the Japanese guy at the front needs to...go...you know? But that itself isn't even graphic at all.

Shit. :p

Here I thought it was a re-envisioning of The Fly. I was expecting some guy to grow a bunch of limbs. Oh well.

Yay! How can someone not love something that adorable? That just made my night. My best friend's nickname for me is bunny, which just made that even better.
That's right Mr. Fluffers, chase away the creepy fucking whispering narrator.

I, however, can resist clicking links. I've been up for 17 hours after only an hour of sleep. I think I'd end up in the fetal position crying and peeing on myself. That's not an attractive look.

If by morden horror movies you mean Saw, then no I don't want to see some jackass with a puppet judge people, hold them up to his expectations and believes that by putting them in traps that will kill or maim them slowly and painfully (most traps would kill you do to the set up like the angel trap that woman would have bled to death anyways and have a disfigured hand) will make them "have a new found purpose in life" or some shit like that. I find that shit sickening, it's some creep in an abandoned building tormenting people because he believe it will bring epipinies or redemption or some shit. The only thing that scares me about them is the fact that they made 5 movies, which people have paid good money for, to see ordinary people getting brutally executed by some asshole who doesen't like their lifestyle.
