Do not get me wrong I was really quite fond of Leliana as a character in Dragon Age origins but compared to her appearance in the Sacred Ashes trailer she was not the most physically attractive romance option (Morrigan holds that title in my opinion) and it always kinda bugged me to know what she was supposed to look like and what she actually looked like. PC players don't have as big a problem because of the wonderful gift from the heavens known as the modding community you can get Leliana to look like this.

Sadly on consoles you can not do this. (Though the 360 has a delightful infinite money glitch)

What do you guys think? Should Bioware patch her appearance? Should bioware patch Stens appearance so he looks like he did in Sacred ashes? Do you wish consoles could have as robust a modding community as PC as apposed to those damn hackers in MW2? What are your thoughts?

I used the Sacred Ashes mod. It was much better.

Sadly I have the 360 version so I can not apply it. I wish I could but lets just say the 360's modding community is mostly populated by people who are only interested in making things like this:

terrible tragedy.

Indeed. If Leliana looked more like alleykatze, whom she was modeled after, well...I would have romanced her. :)

DA:O has a lot that needs patching, and I'm sure this isn't at the top of their priority list, unfortunately.

You have brought your corruption to this thread and are a blight upon these forums.

I kid I kid but that was certainly not my intention. Why don't you listen to some not awful music? Since we are on the topic of Dragon age I think I will link this little song.
Ties into the thread well in my opinion.

I like how choppy and low the framerate is on that vid.
OT: I don't really care, modding should stay on PC games.
Try clearing your cache or waiting for the video to buffer.

Seeing how big Oblivion and Fallout 3 mod communities are,I'd say: Mod Community is a win,on any platform.

Don't cha wish Leliana was hot like this....

Well yes, sadly I do.
There was always something off about her appearance in the console versions.

Leliana...Leliana...where do I know that name from?

Wasn't she the chick from some game that I found completely useless and had no place in my party? Why, yes. Yes she was.

I found no problems with her appearance. She's not in the game to get you sexually stimulated, anyway. Use the internet for that.

Not too shabby design there. I prefer the one in the video you posted though. Hmm..

My lesbian dwarf romanced her anyway >.> You're right though, she could have been made to look better than she did. Going back to the Sacred Ashes trailer though; Morrigan may have looked good in the game but damn did she look awful in the Ashes trailer.

Let me tell you a story. I once, foolishly, decided to see about modding Fallout 3. I saw a new set of armour that I thought looked cool, so I figured why not...

To get the armour, I needed to download the guy that sold it. To get him, I needed to download the town he was in. To get that, I needed to download a mod that removed the underwear from every female model in the game and improved jiggle physics. To get that, I needed to beat my forehead with a brick umtil I just didn't care about all this shit.

I genuinely hope mods stay on PCs, because the number of people who would rather mod a naked woman than google some porn scares the hell out of me...

So... male gamers seeking to customize the appearance of female characters to make them more... "romanceable".

Does nobody else find this just a leeeeedle bit creepy?

I hear there are a large number of Japanese games out there that you people would love.

Rather do Waynne. or whatever the old bats name is.

Age and experience...she'd be like a fine single malt whiskey. A bit harsh but dammmmmmmmmmmnnnnnnn good.

Someone get back to me with a mod of her.

I think she looks trashy now, and her appearance doesn't seem suitable in the game world. That's just my opinion of course, as requested via internet forum thread.

She was meant to be modest and simple in vanilla. Maybe the facial models weren't as detailed as they could have been, but it was suitable.

Why don't you stay on consoles, and we PC players will gladly keep the mods, as you suggest.

I don't know what it is you tried to do to get mods, but that is certainly not the norm. I think you're making up stories here. At the least, it sounds like you tried to get an amateur mod. Try critical thinking next time, before you fling your wild uncontrolled ignorance in someone's direction. It isn't hard to install mods at all.

Why don't you just go to the Fallout 3 Nexus. Get some mods from the Top 100 list. Not difficult. If you find it difficult, then learn. That's how everyone else does it.
