PC Gaming

Omg I can't find the fuck yeah image on it's own? Are you kidding me internet?
Here you go man

Other then giving this man the picture, I can't contribute due to me not have played DA:O

Although, in general when a game offers modibility, texture packs are not uncommon. stalker games come to mind, and so does source engine games. It's just a benefit of PC gaming, as you can modify files such as that with general ease.

while I appreciate what people can do with mods, I'm actually perfectly fine with the default version of Leliana.

What do you guys think? I think she looks fine in game as she is without mods.

Should BioWare patch her appearance? No.

Should BioWare patch Sten's appearance so he looks like he did in Sacred ashes? No.

Do you wish consoles could have as robust a modding community as PC as apposed to those damn hackers in MW2? Yes and no, mainly no but partially yes.

What are your thoughts? My thoughts are that that appearance was in a CGI trailer not the actual game. Everything looks more polished? in a trailer.

Leliana...Leliana...where do I know that name from?

Wasn't she the chick from some game that I found completely useless and had no place in my party? Why, yes. Yes she was.

I found no problems with her appearance. She's not in the game to get you sexually stimulated, anyway. Use the internet for that.
I kept her in my party because I played a warrior most of the time and archer rouges do more damage than melee rouges when built right so she won out over zevran.

What do you guys think? Seriously why would her looks be an issue its a videogame character.

Do you wish consoles could have as robust a modding community as PC as apposed to those damn hackers in MW2? Well I do not feel the need for a console and I doubt it will ever happen but sure why not.
What are your thoughts Why do her looks matter...

I perfectly liked the "default" Leliana... Her sluttiness wasn't pronounced physically, only slightly articulated through dialogue (i haven't romanced her (or played her DLC, is that even out yet), but even ordinary dialogue gives me the feeling that she is a pretty naughty girl actually), which i think is more fun overall. But i guess this thread is more about modding than about her... I dunno, i have a weird stance on modding, i feel its against canon and it almost feels like cheating, like its not the "proper" way to experience a game or something, I don't know.

She looks kinda like a biker girl in that mod.

There was nothing wrong about the way she looked in the game; she wasn't there to be miss Hot Shit. And didn't she spend a couple of years in a convent? If she did she wouldnt look like a Marilyn Manson groupie.

Plus, I hated Morrigan. Always bitching with that smug voice.

What do you guys think? That apparently I'm a relatively shallow gamer, as my sense of immersion increases proportionally with the beauty of romantic leads. Frankly, vanilla Morrigan and Leliana were deadly boring in their unremarkable, plain-faced mediocrity.

Should BioWare patch her appearance? God no. They would fuck it up even more.

Should BioWare patch Sten's appearance so he looks like he did in Sacred ashes? Returning back to my shallowness, I could care less how male characters are skinned as long as they are clothed (this goes for female characters as well) and not created by Japanese RPG developers.

Do you wish consoles could have as robust a modding community as PC as apposed to those damn hackers in MW2? I am a big fan of community made content, but having a console modding community as robust as the PC's is unfortunately just wishful thinking.

What are your thoughts? Dear Bioware - These characters had well-written, meticulously crafted romantic dialogue intended to draw the player in. Kudos for that. However, Morrigan's flirting and Leliana asides would have surely fallen on more receptive ears had you not shoved them ass first through the ugly machine. PS, I know these are hard times, but whoever did Morrigan's breasts should get a raise.

Ultimate meh.

I'd rather they release some kind of program that could make the protagonist look exactly like you. I try desperately but my character always turns out looking nothing like me.

Rainbow Six has already introduced that technology.

Really?

I did not know this. Does it go off a photo or what?

I eagerly anticipate its implementation in rpgs.

I believe the first Tony Hawk underground let you upload a photo and it would model your characters face to resemble the picture. I only remember this because the example photo they used was a hilariously hideous middle aged man with male pattern baldness. Not what I expected their target market to be when I played that game all those years ago.

To be honest, I found everything in that game to be ugly. Mass Effect is beautiful, BioWare! Make Dragon Age look like that.

But yeah neither Morrigan or Leliana are pretty. I don't really care. Besides, one is a psycho witch and the other is what can only be described as the Dragon Age-equivalent of a Christian. I didn't like either of them. Morrigan's outfit is quite nice though.

I too struggle with these problems. Maybe Kinect could fix that? There was facemapping in Rainbow Six: Vegas where you could take a picture of your face and it would render it. It was alright, but it could definitely be improved upon.
