The only game that made me Dizzy while playing it was Geometry Wars.

And i loved every second of it.

Other than that, i have no problem with games that might give other Motion Sickness.

My dad's a gamer and my mom's a Saw fan. So I ask them that question.

Oh, with the exception of maybe God of War 3, but that does nauseate me while I play it.

Never had that... in any of the massively infrequent times I've ever played them. Although I've had the usual crappy "THAT WASN'T VERY NICE" joke, and the "WHAT DID HE DO TO YOU?" one.

And it's near-impossible to get me nauseous.

But dizzy...? What? How?

I was talking to one of the devs or Project Snowblind and he said the reason for this was wide screens. Some people can't handle it very well, so having a more square screen like (like PAL 640x576) would lessen the effect. I'm not entirely sure about this though, as my parents commented on this on quite square screens as well for Descent. I'm thinking that they're looking at it from an angle might be a contributing factor as everything would get distorted.

fingered a helicopter
WAT?
If you hit the 180 button while flying through the air, you'll turn around. Press the melee button, and you'll either finger the enemy behind you or just "V for Victory" him (depending on your version).

As said before, it's a matter of experience. Most of us have been playing these games for quite some time now.

Well, I wall ran, turned, jumped, reversed, fingered a helicopter, landed, reverse rolled, turned, jumped, and landing rolled in Mirror's Edge, and my Dad asked me this.

I didn't get sick, my Dad did.
I heard more people say this about Mirror's Edge, especially when they turn the cross-hair off. I did that and it didn't even phase me in the slightest.
Mirrors Edge has a cross-hair?
It's more of a dot, it's there to give you something to focus on so you don't throw up. I don't need it, neither does the other guy.

It took me 5 years to STOP getting dizzy when 3D games came out. Then again, I get dizzy going up the stairs, down elevators, or standing up after bending over to pick something up.

I've been asked that question twice, once when I was playing Digital Paintball 2, with the slurring colours and pretty bad graphics, my parents had no idea.

But the other one was a weird flash game called First Person Tetris. Which instead of the block moving, the tv and your perceptions shift so that the block looks the same but in fact, rotated. You get very dizzy

I'd always get dizzy when playing Turok 2 or the Serious Sam games. No idea why, though, but I guess it's a combination of the game's palette (both have a very vibrant one) and all of the games being FPSs (with all the schizophrenic camera movement it implies).

For some inexplicable reason, Morrowind would do that to me from time to time. Sent the world spinning to such a degree I had to lay down. The only game, really, that's ever done that, and I don't know why...

i do get a little nauseated when playing fps games for to long i think its the motion of the camera or something to do with how the camera angle is placed because Ive never had that problem with 3rd person.

I actually asked that question to a friend who was playing GTA4 on MP on a PS3 asnd as he was firing he changed the camera a lot and I got somewhat confused and dizzy.
Another game where I DID got dizzy was Polybios. But I haven't been asked that.

My friend got sick when I was playing Zelda: Majoria's Mask.
Remember how great the graphics looked for it's time?
he threw up after seeing the part where you play the song of healing and it defeats the Poe haunting the valley.
