Wait what the fuck is this game about? A Doom game? Well, I hate to break it to you, but I feel like Doom has had its moment in the spotlight. This looks like just another modern shooter with a doom skin on things. I'll believe this as a true Doom game when I see some maze-like, impossible to navigate levels, with multiple colored keycards required to get through that shit.
Also the BFG, but honestly that will probably be there.

I recognize that song from Crank. The trailer is nothing special, but I'm sure the game is going to be good. Also, that thing with the knees, totally impratical.
Its funny. Every time I show trailers like this to my dad who loves Geek/VideoGame culture, he just asks "Wait, why not just make a movie?"
This, the Starcraft II trailers, those awesome Star Wars trailers that come out every other year. Just make a movie, because the game will never be that good.

That was... disappointing. As far as generic shooter trailers go, that was pretty much on par with the rest of them. I love Doom as much as the next guy, but there's nothing about this "reboot" that makes it seem like anything short of a quick way to cash-in on the popularity of Brutal Doom and its associates.
... I also feel like something a bit more heavy on the drum and lighter on the screaming would've worked better for the trailer. I don't remember lyrics or loud screaming in the original DOOM. I guess we'll see. It can only be better than BFG and RAGE. Right?

I am hype like you OP for the new DOOM, I even trying to scan a rare Greek DOOM Comic to celebrate his return, but the trailer look weird...
The DoomGuy was like he is out of time a space in the trailer. Everything he did didn't had the suitable impact that you make you feel this is DOOM. NO gore at all and when the DoomGuy fall to the floor outside, it was like it was a plastic toy.

Nah, Doom 1 and 2 are still fun as hell to play, and people are full of nostalgia and hoping this reboot can recapture the magic of one shotting demons with a shotgun while sprinting around at 20 mph.Xsjadoblayde said:

I love Doom. I'll be buying the new Doom. I made a gameplay mod for Doom 3, fer cryin' out loud. I am a hype receptacle for this game.

Until the game is actually released and in people's hands, you are doing nothing but setting yourself up for sadness and depression by getting stupid excited over a game. ESPECIALLY a game where the last entry was so....meh (there hasn't been another doom since Doom 3, right?).
Maybe I'm just too cynical and jaded for my own gaming good but I don't think there is any game that I'm as excited for as our good buddy B-Cell is over his three favorite topics. I want to say I'm envious of that love but it'll be beaten out of you soon enough once some of these games come out and start being giant suck bombs.
