I'm with you but this wasn't the first time people thought the world is going to end and it won't be the last time. Some psychic claiming to have seen the end of the world, someone who thinks that he's deciphered a nonexistent code in one of the religious books, the release of hl3 etc. We'll never hear the end of this.
