I recommend:

- Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker,
- Pikmin(both),
- Metriod Prime (all),
- Eternal Darkness,
- Prince of Persia: Sands of Time,
- Ikaruga.

Are just few.

For multiplayer you can't go wrong with the likes of:
- Mario Party,
- Mario Kart,
- Timesplitters,
- Super Monkey Ball 2.

Oh and get Paper Mario. I am now off to go spend the day playing on my 'Cube. My lack of productivity shall be blamed on you!

I have to reccomend: 007 night fire,
seriously i still play it now. Only for 2 player however, nothing better than going against 7-8 bots with your mate in CTF and just sniping them as they wonder around the map.

Timesplitters 2 or Future Perfect are also good games

Not sure if it will interest you but I personally enjoyed the Metal Gear Solid remake Twin Snakes, was a lot easier than the original in my opinion but I had fun with it.

It was something of a guilty pleasure on my part but I really enjoyed playing Harvest Moon. Other than that Timesplitters was great in all aspects, as were mario kart double dash and viewful joe.

Def Jam Vendetta and Def Jam Fight for NY. Two of the best wrestling/fighting games around. If you dislike rap, it may not be your cup of tea.

Skies of Arcadia Legends is better than every FF there's ever been. Other than that, Eternal Darkness or Viewtiful Joe should suffice. I have to mention F-Zero GX as well. Buy it!

The Simpsons: Hit n' Run (if you like the Simpsons and haven't played this on another console)
Luigi's Mansion (This is a must.)
Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker (Twilight Princess, too, if you don't have it for the Wii).
