Dragon Age 2 Sure is...Busty.

I've just played the demo for the second game in order to get myself familiar with all the changes and all I could notice was that there were giant tits everywhere.

Now I'm not averse to large breasts, but to have them in every single scene and on every single female character is a bit much. Even Flemmeth now has a sturdy DD going and Isabella is 25% of Isabella is her boobs alone. It's to the point where it's just distracting.

I don't know why but I expected a bit more class from BioWare.

Bethany (your sister) has a bit of "inflation" during the very beginning when you play as uber Hawke, part of Varric's exagerated story telling methods, she has a smaller size during the actual game.

The female character models are actually reduced from how they were in Origins, I think Isabela keeps the original model.
Plus, her outfit seems designed to highlight her "assets".

Ha I noticed this as well. It's like they only have one model for female characters and it's big breasted and thin. It certainly looked out of place when the mother character (whatever her name) from the demo has these giant cans that looks like she just came from the surgeon, instead of some thing a little smaller, flatter and age appropriate.

Can't say as I'm really surprised though. Game developers know that their largest core demographic by far is young men, and who likes tits better than men?

I generally subscribe to the "bigger is better" philosophy, but I couldn't help thinking Bioware was slightly overdoing it in the demo. Even after it normalizes, female Hawke still has huge boobs. And then you get to the second part of the demo with the female rogue. Dear lord, how does she walk?

You are supposed to cough it up to "Some crazy dwarf is telling the story, so everything is fucked." That is why Flemmeth looks crazy now.

Did anybody else notice the annoying loading going on every ten seconds? It seems like it loads every conversation and cutscene right before rather than buffering the data a few seconds before... DA:O had annoyingly long load times, but at least there were no mid-action loads. I just find it annoying to have everything pause and "loading..." show up in the corner...

I have to agree with you on this good sir. I don't see how this is a problem either. I mean most guys who play this probably play females in MMOs and I can surely imagine them making a busty female in this game as well.

Yeah, they went a little too far with Isabela. Seriously, it is like they pulled her right out of a 90's Image comic. And people say Japan oversexualizes women...

Yeah, I am not going to complain. The closest thing to it would be a mild amusement at any such predominance....Complain about being distracted by boobs.....no, that doesn't sound like me.
Besides, a decent story shouldn't be susceptible to derailment by art direction anyway. If the boobs do draw my attention away from the story, the story wasn't quite good enough in the first place.

Besides, they're not -that- huge. It's not like they're comically exaggerated.

They changed the art style of the game. Most people like the change, but I'm with you.

I was distracted be the sheer manliness of Hawke's mutton chop/beard combo going on first time. Second time I played Female Hawke and only really looked at her. I might even like FemHawke more...

I'm pretty sick of hearing people whine about large breasts. It's gotten to the point where people act like anyone having large breasts is unnatural and never happens. I've spoken to a couple of large busted females, and they've noticed it as well, and they aren't even hardcore gamers.

It's almost like some people are jealous that their real life selves or girlfriends do not have a chest that big. Why else should you care? Girls that have big boobs do exist. Just because they are not A or B cup does not make them abnormal.
