"The kingdoms of elves, dwarves, and man shall not perish under the mistakes of the mages whom fell to the call of the old gods." He began as his tone seem to change. "If I should return with my body on my shield.." His tone change to that of a musical note. "Tell my son I chose to die, than yield..though my life may soon be gone I hope you'll carry on! Remember me as one who would not kneel." He began to sing in a low voice, backed only by a fierce hidden strength.

"Fight with blood, fight with steel, die with honor, never yield fearless hearts filled with pride, into glory we shall ride." His tone changed to that of a both hopeful and strong as he continued. " I am driven on the face of all despair, trust in steel you will find me there. A sinner's fate awaits me, but my vision guides me on, I will not stray from the path I'm set upon." Then he brought out a blackened guitar as he began to play.

As he ended his song he turned from his horse with a collect smile. "I was trained by the Dalish into the art of the Bard...but my influence in battle changed my lyrics abit..but I do enjoy all types of music but the ones that inspire warriors work best."

I'm a bard and I'm using lyrics by Manowar...Bard+Manowar=Super Mega Awesome Bard Oh guitars have been around since the 9th century, so I figured they would fit into DA..though they were used differently, Rule of Cool standing I figured why not.

"That be a wonderful song about fightin'! Argh! Now I be pumped for knocking some darkspawn heads!" Damnish began swinging his hammer wildly, as if he was in a major battle against hundreds of foes.

"I do not look forward to meeting the darkspawn on battle as you do, dwarf. But they are awful creatures that must be destroyed. I do, however, look forward to seeing the griffons the Grey Wardens are so famous for." She sighed and looked away wistfully. "Such magestic creatures..."

"Actually, we must head up to the mountains near Orzammer to see the griffons. None of the Wardens around here use griffons, they were all brought down by the last darkspawn horde. They gathered in the woods, and took us by surprise, taking down the last of our griffons." Jason admitted.

Yes there will be griffons in this rp, but not until later

Allister was both pleased and somewhat apprehensive. He had doused his magical Light and was thinking carefully, "This.....Jason, is quite afraid of these.....Darkspawn. Which actually says a lot. He is a Grey Warden, meaning he knows much about the enemy. The Fact that the Wardens, incredibly powerful though they may be, are wary of attracting their attention means a lot. I'll have to be careful in fighting against this Enemy.....

Allister took one of the horses and was relatively unaffected by mention of food, considering it to be fuel for his body and nothing more. He looked at the Bastard Noble explain his presence and resolved to observe him. "Being A Noble, even a Bastard Noble, would mean that he has a Large Amount of Gold. If he is determined enough to join, then he will also be backing the order with funds. Interesting. He will be an important Player in the times ahead. As he told the horse to move he heard the Arcane Warrior giggle 'Ye Gods, seriously? If anyone here bought THAT, then I have very little confidence in the Future of this World. Held up as it is by that of Muscle Headed Idiots with more Dick than Brain. I expected her to be better than that.

He looked at the stars as The Bard started to sing his tune. He smiled, a combination of Melancholy and Bitterness. Die on the Fields of Battle eh? Die with Pride?.......There would be peace in that I think. But.....that is not for me. I'm not willing to die for anyone or anything, even with the mass amount of Carnage the Darkspawn may be bringing. But I have no intention to let this threat live either. They will become a threat to my Power if left unchecked.

''Easy there friend dwarf, you almost hit me. Use that spirit for when we meet them.'' Laurence said, while narrowly dodging the wild swings for Damnish.

''But Darius, tell me were did you learn that song? I have never heard that song before and I have been to many courts and played there as well, but I have never heard such a song. Maybe later you can teach me how to play this song. I would also love to hear and learn some of the song's form the elf's.''

Neria reached the top of the hill and stood infront of the castles mighty gates, waiting impatiently for the others. She walked to the edge of the cliff, gazed down to the lake below and watched the moonlight reflect of the tranquil waters below.

She'd slipped up slightly earlier, so now needed to be in the background slightly more and watch her step. She cursed herself once more for the slip-up and the subsequent over compensation, it had been necessary however, the others seemed to be more puzzled by her innane giggling than what had come over her as she spoke about the Darkspawn.

She would have to work extra hard to gain support from now on and she knew now where to start.

Allister was curious with The Arcane Warrior's current mood. She had slipped upped with something, her giggle made that apparent. What he didn't know was what. He wasn't paying attention then, deep in his thoughts as he was. He pushed out the sounds of Conversations and only heard little snippets of it. Her slightly high pitched giggle, in combination with him telling his horse to move, broke him from his Thoughts.

He debated on what to do "She should be trying to look for allies now. The Mark of The manipulator is that she must require people to manipulate, and she was certainly a Manipulator. She would try to get other, more gullible recruits, to act as her pawns. Since she will do this, a fact not a guess, will mean that she might come into conflict with me. It may come to the point where we will be opponents. If so, it would be better to be near her, so as to watch her movements better and to predict and, if her moves would come into conflict with his, counter them. If not, then she would become a worth ally indeed."

Pleased with himself, he got of his horse and approached her. Choosing the best words to poke a reaction from her, he said "While you may have deflected attention from yourself NOW, Arcane Warrior, don't deceive yourself into thinking that it will stay hidden forever." "As to WHAT exactly your secret is, I have no idea. All I know was that giggle was supposed to cover up for something, but as to WHAT it was, is a much deeper mystery."

Neria didn't bother to turn as the Bloodmage drew near, she listened silently to what he had to say and stood silently for awhile, formulating a appropriate course of action. She noted as she did so, that the others were still down the hill. They were alone.

'Good'

Finally she turned to him and looked him dead in the eye, her gaze held none of its usual warmth but instead it was replaced with promise and allure.

"You seem intent, Bloodmage, to prevent any fun I may have. What is it you want? Some fun of your own?"

She began to take slow, steady paces towards him, still fixing him with her gaze.

"I cant deny, you are one of the more intriguing players of a game you know nothing about. So how about it? You have some fun and then you leave me to play my game in peace? My game is no threat to you, or anyone for that matter, its just abit of fun"

She stopped a foot infront of him and continued to strike him with the gaze that had 'felled' many a man before, some even more calculating and cold than the Bloodmage himself. She stood there infront of him, enticing him with her scent, her gaze and the many other unconscious signals she was sending.

'If this does not work I may need a different tactic to deal with him. I hope for his sake, it works'

I'm starting to dislike this character >_< *shudders* I think I need a shower

No worries. i've crafted characters even worse than her. Takes one to know one right?.......Right?
Also. My character is now supremely insulted by your characters attempts at seduction.

"Pathetic. Incredibly, Utterly, Uselessly Pathetic. Truly, do you believe I would fall for such......Parlor Tricks? Are those in Tevinter so pathetically weak willed as to fall for THIS! To let them be brought down by such.........It's almost funny.....Indeed, It's quite Funny."

Allister looked at the Arcane Warrior straight at her eyes, betraying none of his thoughts. Then he smiled, he looked down at his feet, and his body started to wrack with Humor. Then, after a few seconds of this, he Laughed. Equal Parts Amusement and Contempt. He laughed at her face and kept laughing. Cutting. Painful. Mocking.

He eventually calmed down from his Humor and looked at her again. "I am not usually wrong, but it seems I am now. Here I was, thinking that you were the INTELLIGENT one here. While I give you credence for your skill in manipulation, I'm not one to be so easily swayed."

He walked towards the Cliff and looked at the Moon, knowing that she won't try anything against him right now. "You know NOTHING about me Tevinter. You assume I, under virtue of being born with a Dick, would be easily swayed by that? SERIOUSLY!? Nothing more subtle? Nothing more Insidious than that? You did not even TRY? Please, I am no rank amateur in the Arts of Manipulation Tevinter. I was expecting something more from you."

Allister turned to face her, his eyes reflecting the Light of the Moon. "I have no intention in interfering with your.....Affairs Tevinter. By all means, do whatever strikes your fancy, I would willingly watch the entertainment with you. But please, do NOT throw me into the same....Class as them. Now. Let's try that again shall we? This Time, without the Seduction. Simply say what you wish to say to me. They may be all lies, but at least you Tried.

A look of confusion and defeat swept, almost undetectably over Neria's face before she regained her composure and smiled.

"You are no rank amateur, I'll give you that. The offer however still stands, you let me play my game and we'll get along fine, I'd rather not be at odds with you"

With that she turned and headed inside the castle.
----------------------------------------

'Still got it'

She leant against a wall and sighed a breath of relief. Despite how it may appear, her talk with the Bloodmage had been a success. A man such as him would not be swung by petty pleasures of the flesh, he needed to have a victory, to have his pride reaffirmed and she hoped with this concession she had done just that.

She had lost her stature as a worthy opponent in his eyes and now, to him atleast, she was just another fool to be exploited. He was a man that wanted control and power, even if she had agreed to 'watch the entertainment' with him, he would still see her as a threat and so would be a problem.

'Manipulation is about finding out what your prey wants and making them think they have it'

It had been one of the first lessons her mother had given her and her mother had taught her well. The Bloodmage might still prove an adversary in the future but for now atleast she had time.

From this point onward I'm going to think in my mind Morrigan and Neria share a mother,as Morrigan's mother has lived for ages according to some legends and that seems the kind of thing she'd say.

Looking back at the other bard he gave a nod. "I learned the tune from the very natural spirits of earth, the pounding of a water fall or the rushing of the wind, the scrape of steel and the crackle of flames, I find inspiration in all those for my music. As for the lyrics, they are from Men and Women of War, I take various chants they use and form them into a song, unlike most bards whom travel I must find my own songs." Darius responded to Lawrence, however his gaze shifted to the two wizards, by just a simple look he could tell from their body language each of them where high of mind, and of ego. The woman was used to her looks for the young and weak minded or the lonely to follow her command. Whilst the mage was used to others to follow his beckon, with his might of his magic for others to follow him. "Perhaps we could perform a tune together, I'm working on one...I wish to call it I believe, to inspire the troops, well not only our blood lusting dwarven friend but for those whom have doubts and fears, those who will experiance loss and those who believe they will not live. I wish to show that we are not alone in battle. Here are some of the lyrics." He said handing a small parchement of paper to the other bard as his gaze lost track of the two mages. With a quick trot over to the Grey Warden. "Sir I'd watch those two mages, just by the look of there...body language and their tone of voice they are are manipulators and well...I presume that since their used control they will try to exert in the camp." He said with a grimace as thoughts of two warring factions of mage bound warriors fighting.

For the weak of heart, I will be strong
To the defenders of faith, I will belong
To the last of us, fight till we die
Till the keys, of the kingdom, are mine

All stand together
For the world to see
Now the time is right
To live out all our dreams
Say the words forever
Your strength will never leave
If you want to win the fight
Say, "I Believe"

I like the idea, infact it would make alot of sense but alas it's not to be. Her mother was just a slave, a slave with more to her than meets the eye but a slave nonetheless. Sorry to rain on your parade lol

Awesome Man. Have Fun.
Maverick watched the Arcane Warrior enter the castle and immediately fell into thought. "This is interesting.......She will try to manipulate as many people as possible into becoming her......Allies? or would the term 'Slave' be more appropriate. Anyway, unless an Ironclad agreement at an Alliance is formed, she is still a threat. Even then, she would try to betray me eventually, so I need something to dangle over her head so as to control her. I'm still somewhat puzzled by her actions, It's not what I think of her. However, just because she uses Sex as her most effective and well used tool, doesn't mean that that is her ONLY one. I will need to watch her EVERY word carefully, lest it be used to manipulate me. I will need to observe her further. In case she becomes........a Liability.

Maverick nodded and took his staff. He then entered the Castle, observing anything, and everything inside.

Sorry, exams and all... i will do that with this post

As the group traveled up to the castle gates, a small alarm sounded and the gates opened slowly. Inside was a very basic courtyard, in the center was a raised platform and at the end of the courtyard was the castle itself. Inside the first room of the castle was a long hallway that branched off to different parts of the castle, at the end of the hallway was a staircase that led upwards.

Jason nodded to the group and dismounted his horse inside the gate, which was then led away towards the stables. The group finally traveled inside and the gates were shut behind them. Jason motioned for five other adventurers to come with him while everyone else was left alone.
