Fair Point, but I'm purposefully making my Character Guess a page or 2 back, with that little Girlish giggle of yours, I only made it so that Allister knew you were hiding SOMETHING, just not WHAT. But as long as the guesses to what Neria does are reasonable, I.E they can be pieced together with Logic and have independence from the Internal Monologue then that's fine right?

Also, since I my character is also a bit of a manipulator [sub]Just not like Neria[/i] I would also appreciate it if the same thing does not apply to me. So far, nothing's really happened yet, but i also want to manipulate a little bit. :D

Also, Crayzor. Since you have just shown that you can turn someone into a Tranquil [sub]No my character doesn't know that one yet.[/sub] I trust that I'll have a fighting chance against that if i ever decide to stab you in the bac- I MEAN, if any of that spills on me or something.....yeah.

Also, when is the GM gonna poke us along to the dining table? It seems that we're walking down a Corridor of Infinity or something. Not to be snide or anything. Just curious as to where he went.

Allister had been thinking counter-measures against his Comrades should they turn against him. After all, he survived the Ambush and previous attempts on his life by thinking quickly and being Insanely Prepared. This was one of those moments. The Spirit Magus doesn't like him right now, that much is clear. He had NO idea what the hell she has planning for him. If I was her, I would have tried to kill me by now. In a subtle way of course. But her sheer insistence in not working with me is also a Possible Manipulation point. Able to be used in case of a break-down in brotherhood. He knew that she cared for the Weak and Downtrodden. Like a Prim and Proper Spirit Magus. Still, he had to be on guard if she has a more ruthless streak in her. If she DOES try to fight me......her Compassion would be a Viable weakness. So I have to engage her in an Area with plenty of Villagers, but that the Villagers themselves have no one to protect them. Both for her not to Aim properly and to have a readily suppliable amount of blood. Still, I also have to consider to not enrage her in that fight. If she loses it, then she might berserk at me. Which means my advantage concerning the Villagers is lost. If she brought others to try to take me down.....If it's a Reckless enough fighter, then I can simply maneuver him into killing the innocents. With me not doing anything, The Spirit Magus would leave herself Vulnerable as she raged against her ally. If it's an HONORABLE combatant, then the hostage trick should work as well.

Neria......well. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if she's plotting my unfortunate death right this moment. So let's see......Archon Magus are Normally a mix of both Physical and Magical Power. As such, they have to divide their time to master BOTH arts. So....I know I could possibly overwhelm her in magic, but I can't be sure I could kill her quickly enough for her to stick a blade through me. So I have to position myself near a Village so as to have a ready supply of Blood. Because of her skill in magic and combat, I either have to attack at Extreme Range, Take out her Physical Strength or Magical Strength before hand, or all of the above.Of course, it would be simpler to kill her as soon as she decided to try to kill me, but I doubt the others would allow it. It would be to risky for her to pick the battleground. If she brought allies, then the same would apply. Honorable ones would be incapacitated with the Hostages. Unhonorable ones would be dangerous though. Preferably, I would have her entangle herself in her little webs, leaving her no allies. That way, victory would be assured.

Worst Case Scenario: Both Neria and Ashalle decides to unite their strength and try to kill me. Unhonorable Warriors assisting them. Since the Magus would have decided to ally with her, then that means she is willing to let Villagers die. Which means the Villagers are useful only as Extra Fuel. In that case, I would have probably alienated myself from the others too much at that point......By Myself, I'd be dead. No question about it. However, the proper tools and allies and terrain would even the playing field. They would probably make it so that Ashalle would counter my spells while Neria and her Mercenaries move in for the Kill......Long Range.....High Ground as well.......I would need to visit an Assassin sometime to purchase Traps from him. Damn it, I KNEW I should have learned metal working. Bah, Nonetheless. I need traps in that situation. Wild Animals as well? No, I need the Villagers alive more than I need extra help. The Animals would no doubt slaughter the Villagers. Leaves me Vulnerable.......I would need to strike first. I can't let them get prepared enough to fight me. If they prepare sufficiently, I die. Simple as that......

Allister continued walking down the Stone Corridor. Absorbed in his Plans.

If I do try to do it, don't worry. I won't make it an easy thing for me to do. e.g. It won't be possible to do unless you have already been exhausted in a battle of a situation where you have already been defeated.

@DC: Yesterdays little whine actually wasn't directed towards you too much, it does seem very in character for Allister to be reading Neria, plus the interactions between the two characters always prove to be entertaining and interesting.

p.s Wow Allister is paranoid XD

Again sorry for my dissapearance... i have exams so i am not able to get on as much...

Jason nodded to the group to walk down the corridor to a large door at the very end. From inside the door came laughing and music. Jason opened the large doors for the group and revealed a great gathering of people. Wardens and bards gathered together in this room, a large table stretched the course of the room and at the back of the room was an elevated floor where a large stone chair sat. Jason walked inside, greeting other Wardens, and motioned for the recruits to follow.

My character as a bard is trained to read people. Also it helps to know in the lordly estate to when see those who try to manipulate you. Eh but I'll start on the whole blind trust thing.

Giving a bow he nodded his head. "Very well tis your choice, I shall simply find another." Darius said noticing that they were being directed to the meeting with the wardens he followed Jason giving a slight nod to each of the wardens. "So is this were we are initiated?" He asked with a piqued interest. "I've heard tales on how one becomes a warden, some say you invite demons so that you may resist the taint, other say that we drink the blood of the dragons and use blood magic to gain the powers of said dragon, even then some say that wardens are really connected to a primal force on the world that connects us all, and we get powerful abilities with the mind." Darius mused as he crossed his arms.

Jason ignored Dariuses comment and walked away. Jason went to the stone chair and sat down on it, glaring at everyone else in the room.

"Let the feast begin!" Jason called out. Everyone began digging into the food that was laid out on the large table.

Well with Neria its not exactly blind trust that is needed, just an acknowledgement of her skills. She isn't just casually trying to seduce and manipulate her fellow recruits on a whim, she has defined and very well thought out plan.

However I do see how a bard might be able to feel uneasy about her, but being able to tell that she's a manipulator by looking at her is slightly annoying.

My character is a bard, but also a spy. Hey has played in different courts, so tries to listen in on other people's conversations. Here is a run down off what he thinks so far.
the reavers barbaric, Neria hey does not know, Allister someone to watch because of the blood magic, Ashalle does not quite like humans, Darius a lord, but not like any lord he has met and Jason hey also does not know. Hope this clarify's it a bit.

''ooh sorry Darius, I was lost in thought. What were you saying again?'' Laurence asked Darius.

Eyeing the food, Laurence picked some meat and cheese. Testing the wine, he started to look around for a different bottle or some one of the staff.

Ashalle sat down at the table and, leaned her staff against the table beside her. She poured herself a glass of wine from a nearby bottle and sipped at it absently while she looked around at the men and women around her. They were all grizzled veterans, but there was also a sense of comradery amongst them. Huh. Somehow I doubt that will be the same for our little group.

"Fantastic, my beloved companions have come to join me, excuse me for a moment gentlemen" said Neria to no-one in-particular, as she saw the rest of her group enter the large hall in which the feast was being held.

She'd followed the sounds of activity and had found the feast before the others, she'd been hard at work getting 'in' with the Wardens but come to think of it, it wasn't so difficult to entice these men anyhow.

A mysterious Elven woman, appearing in the middle of their company, her skin, scent and accent a rarity for any Ferelden.

Was she Orlesian? Nevarran? Rivianian perhaps? She couldn't be...

But she was and they loved that, they loved the mysterious air she conjured around herself (figuratively) , they lapped it up and were intoxicated by her.

She pretended as if she had just noticed her companions enter and gracefully walked over to greet them, much to the disappointment of the Wardens.

"I see you have all arrived, I've just been introducing myself to the fascinating gentlemen here. Did you know one of the Wardens here snapped a Darkspawns neck with his bare hands? Where is he? Victor? Victor?"

She left the group once more and went in search of the phantom Warden, letting herself get surrounded by the Wardens once more. In truth she had only approached the group to cause ire for the paranoid (and no doubt already scheming) Allister and perhaps spark some more interest in Sevink.

Jason watched Neria as she blended in with the crowd, consorting with all of the Wardens. He watched her for a few moments before sighing and leaning back in his chair, letting his head fall onto his hand which was rested on the arm of the cahir. He waited for his company to eat so tomorrow could come and the tests could begin.

Hmm... I think I might have written something wrong or you might have misread something slightly Pyro, Neria is surrounding herself with the Wardens, socialising and putting on the veneer of enjoying it. I'm sorry if my post was a little hazy on that, I'm reeeaaaaally tired.

@Crayzor: Thank You, that should be fair. Also, just so you know, My character's entire LIFE is devoted around Magic. The moment he realizes you're closing in for the Mortalification, he's gonna lose it.

@Bigz: Indeed. My character is getting a kick out of seeing the annoyed reactions of his Fellow Magus.
PS to counter your PS: Well Yeah. If I let him go at it long enough, I'm pretty sure he'd realize he is simply a fictional character. He would then try to kill me......or something like that.

Allister was still thinking his Back-Up Plans ......Then, since she would be sufficiently weakened by the Magic Mushrooms, I could sneak in and steal her Weapons!.... When he entered the Dining Hall. Almost at once, he was struck by the Large Amounts of Wardens that his Blood Mage Senses were screaming.

He managed to control himself with minimum Physical signs and thought By the Fade! There's.....so much Power here.....so much.....Damn. i have to be careful here. One tiny Slip, and I'd be nothing but a smear on the wall.....

He heard the Archon Magus' comment about some Warden called Victor. Hmm......Generic Name.....Possible bait? No....what does she gain by annoying me?....So...Real? If so, then she already has a hold on the Wardens....Still, It would hardly matter. I am going to join them soon. Whether or not she has any real Leverage over them is irrelevant to me. I will become stronger than any other paltry Warrior she can scrounge up here. If Not Real However.....then Why? To annoy me? To make me Paranoid? Is she thinking that I would be thinking THE VERY LINE OF THOUGHT I AM?.....*mental slap* Damn It. Even IF she is, it would hardly matter in the long run anyway.......probably...Now to observe the rest of the Wardens....

Sevink looked around the great hall.
He saw the various meats and fine foods, accompanied by ale and wine.
Then he smiled broadly and stupidly.
He ran around the room almost whooping in delight between mouthfuls of meat and drink. He saw Neria consorting with others,Jason (Obviously a bad tempered stoic fellow) sitting and brooding on a stone chair. He looked at the assorted races,Qunari,Dwarves and Elves everywhere,he even saw a few dogs even.It made him smile to see various races together and happy, though it was annoying when he would accidentally kick a dwarf over in his excitement and got a hammer to the testicles.Eventually he wore himself out and sat down, satisfied with his meal and slightly woozy. He started to think of how he thought of his companions and what was likely to happen.
Allister is Nice but manipulative fellow, may need to keep obfuscating stupidity around him, accept the odd steak.Neria is a mystery to behold, she seems nice, though prone to changes in behaviour.Must find this Victor or see if he is real.Ashaelle a *****,don't try to be freinds.LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAURENCE! is squeamish fellow, probably thinks me monster.Must talk to others more thoroughly and keep an eye out for the loud and stupid dwarf.

The Wardens were warm, she'd give them that yet there was something withdrawn to them, the way they looked at her, a sad, almost worried look confused her. Whenever she was to engage in some light flirting with one, after a time he'd become distant and find one excuse or another to leave.

Could she be loosing her touch?

No, that was a preposterous idea, Neria chuckled slightly at the thought.

Perhaps the Wardens were forbidden to indulge in pleasures of the flesh?

Again no, a few of the Wardens she had talked to had been obviously 'working their moves' in hope of getting lucky but their friends would eventually find a way to make them back off, usually a stern, disapproving look or tentative whisper.

They seemed... Reluctant to get close and was it her, or did she see signs of worry and even pity in their eyes? This was most likely due to the test they would have to take and the signals she was getting indicated it was a test that could prove fatal, she'd have to watch her step.

Whatever the test was there was no use dwelling on it, instead she got back to imprinting herself in the hearts and minds of the male Wardens in the room, and the trust of the females.

Twas a practice she knew well and despite the Wardens reluctance to get close, she would make a lasting impression and then, they would be hers.

one last day of exams and i focus more on this rp again

Jason watched all the recruits mingling with the crowd and nodded. It was good that they were learning who the Wardens were. Jason stood up from his chair and walked out onto a balcony that overlooked the lake. Behind the castle there was a sheer drop down to jagged rocks that would easily break the bones of anyone who fell on them.

"Ah, Sevink my friend it seems you've lived long enough to enjoy the feast!" Darius said with a loud voice towards the warrior. Along with another sip of his wine the bard made his way out to where Jason stood. "So tell me, what do you think our chances are of defeating the dark spawn?" He asked turning to the Grey Warden. His violet eyes concentrated on the man, observing him as if from afar. "No need to answer if you do not wish." He said as he sipped the drink he stared at the lake. "Good thing none of the darkspawn can fly then we'd be in trouble." This time he chuckled as thought of dark spawn but with wings.

Jason heard Darius and looked at him for a minute before leaning down against the railing again and looking back out across the lake.

"I wish you wouldn't say Darkspawn with wings, that would mean the end for all of us. I believe that there is a small ray of hope for Fereldan. Especially with the new recruits, something seems strange with them however and i cant put my finger on it." Jason said, with a sigh.

"We're all insane." He said with a shrug. "Then again facing monstrous abominations like the dark spawn, one probably isn't too stable in the head." Darius gave a quick smile to Jason. "No, no that's not it..perhaps we shall have whatever it takes to stop this, to stop this desecration of the land and to stop it from ever spreading again." A tinge of hope filled his voice as he leaned against the wall. Staring at his wine cup, half of it still full he stared through the empty half at the lake below in silence.
