I knew that it would suck, being an anime turning live-action movie. But this trailer confirmed it will be even worse. Well the hell is Krillin and the RRA? Why does Roshi look serious rather then comedic? Why is Goku a teenager? Where is Bulma's trademark blue hair? Now i'm just nit-picking, but it is not Dragon Ball. Evolution? More like extinction!

The worse part is that it makes me even more afraid of the possibility of an Evangelion movie. It better not get past whatever phase it is on.

Isn't Roshi a really old, bald, perverted guy?
They got a guy with hair who seems dead serious.
Piccolo looks like more like a sci-fi alien than a Dragonball Universe type alien.
I never really cared for the Dragonball series, but I find myself irritated by the few things that I did pay attention to being slaughtered like easily slaughter-able creatures.

Most times I'm a big fan of Chow Yun-Fat, but casting him as Roshi is the final nail in the coffin that this abortion of a movie will be. From the looks of things, the only stuff they are keeping fron ANY of the Dragonball lore is the names, and that is a bad move no matter how you slice it. It's going to be so far-off base that the fans will hate it, and since it's still Dragonball no matter how much they cut it will be batshit insane enough that casual movie-veiwers will hate it.

The only chance this movie ever had was to go SO over the top, that at least the fans would be happy, and it might make a good film to see with your stoner friends. As it stands now, they've ruined any chance, no matter how slim, that this movie had of being more then Uwe Boll level dreck.
