Dragonball finally gets a trailer

I'm all for using violence to try to stop an abomination from ever seeing the light of day.

I just want to know why they changed Goku from an awesome kid that changed into a giant monkey into a copy/paste angst ridden teenager who is modeled off Shia LeBeouf? Why Roshi is a typical monk/warrior that, just to make him crazy, wears Hawaiian shirts instead of the 90 year old bald pervert that wears a turtle shell? Why is Bulma a "super-serious badass action girl" instead of a typical heiress that is surprisingly hard to dislike? And why is did piccolo replace is antennas with a sword?

Oh come on. Seriously, with how horrible I was expecting this thing to be, this looks a WHOLE lot better than where my idea for shitasticism was set.

Now, on the other hand, the new Terminator movie-- considering the cast and all-- I thought would be good, and THAT trailer did nothing but disappoint.

When you go in expecting an 8 and get a 4, it's so much worse than going in expecting a 2 and getting a 5.

Wow. Just Wow. I NEVER usually say something sux, but that was bat balls sucky.

I followed the entire Dragonball franchise on Cartoon Network, and sat through rerun after rerun to just get to the next season. So to say i was a fan is an understatement. Now the Last episode of GT was sucky i admit, but the 2nd last where you find out the ultimate fate of Goku was awesome.
This thing, as it is can only be considered an abomination, is not even in the same mind set of the Anime Series.
Since when is Goku a Gaijin for a start... Roshi not bald, not a perve.. Bulma without blue hair. Goku saying something like "cool". Piccalo without antenna. None of the other Z warriors: like Tien + Yumcha. My last gripe is thus: The Kamehamaeha being done one handed ??!!

My brain hurts from this, i need to lay down.

I'm going to watch this movie just because I can. Goku saying "Kamehameha" right at the end was awesome, and then the full name showed up "Dragonball: Evolution". Why the hell does every movie have to have some ridiculous subtitle like that? >.<

It looks okay. I'm not really too familiar with the source material the movie is based on, so from my eyes it at least looks like it could have potential.

you fanpeople sicken me. you haven't even seen the film yet and you already are screaming how terrible it's going to be. Sure, it looks like a Popcorn flick. is that seriously a problem? so was transformers! I'm going and I'm gonna enjoy it. It's gonna be fun. I don't care that it's in no way related to the original media, Neither was Die Hard 2 and I fucking loved that.

If i was to ask you if they changed the names and the macguffens (lets say it changes to sly searching for the Chaos Emeralds) would you still be kicking up a fuss? sure, its using the dragonball name, but it's telling a different story. its Like V for Vendetta. if you remove it totally from the book and just enjoy it as a film, you will have a ball. please consider this when you go, and you will because you won't be able to resist, to the cinema to see this

I used to be a big fan of Dragonball, but this is just pathetic, talk about Hollywood getting greedier by the years, seriously, why do they have to ruin good franchises by making horrific american/new versions of them??

This will be yet another of the movies i hope i never watch, i fell for their tricks with Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, and that almost ruined Indiana Jones for me, so i aint falling for their crappy movies again.

Oh god. No, no, no. Why does Bulma use guns? Why isn't Roshi even bald? What happened to the Dragonballs granting wishes? What happened to everything that made Dragonball good?

My guess, Fox happened.

They have a habit of getting rid of good things.

I was dragon-junkie-ball-thing and this is in no way the dragonball I knew and obsessed over.

LOL I immediately thought of Firefly, too. Fox has a way of taking anything even remotely good and squeezing every last drop of it's pure soul to further fuel their reality shows of lazy eyed heiresses....I was never a fan of Dragonball, but even I'm pissed at how much the pooched it. LOL We can all expect yet another horrible Dragonball game to follow this.
