Do you have a problem with dragons being the good guys? More often than not they are the villains, and I am not contesting that, as indeed they do make fine villains, but for some reason many of my friends seem to think there is something wrong with dragons being either the good guys or allies to the good guys. My one friend, a long time D&D DM and White Wolf storyteller, seems to believe that the metallic dragons shouldn't be in there. In his campaigns, you can pretty much assume anything that isn't one of the core races is evil, and even if it is neutral, it is still going to try to eat you. Not that there is anything wrong with that, as his campaigns are always fun. Then I have another friend who also thinks that good dragons are somehow inherently wrong. Dragonheart is in his words "nothing special" ok, nothing off about that, lots of people think that. But his reason for that being that it has a dragon as a good guy, while not necessarily wrong, just strikes me as odd.

(Also, today marks one whole year here one the escapist for me. Woo! E-confetti!)
