This one is specifically aimed at musicians, but others are welcome to answer.

What is your dream instrument. The instrument you just drool over like a poor kid looking at the sweets at the candy store. I'm a guitarist, and one I would love to have is this Les Paul Black Beauty (although I would probably change pickups to something like an EMG 81, an 85, and a Seymour Duncan). Mostly cause I love Les Paul guitars, but also cause I love the colous and the triple Humbucker feature. It looks simply great.

Or maybe this little beauty. Sure, it ain't Gibson, but it's got 24 frets and two EMG's.

I wish I stayed with guitar... Any way I'd have to say a Trombone with three slides, the epicness of the concept is enough to make me want to try to shimmy slides onto my horn.

That's my dream as a drummer.

As a Bassist mine is. . .
A little over the top, don't you think? And the only one able to handle that drum set would probably be someone like Joey Jordison or Jaska Raatikainen.

Stradivarius.

One quick auction for profit & I'd be set for years!
Ah, you can never go wrong with a Stradivarius. Although you'll have to be more careful with it than an autistic child in a museum for sharp objects.

Drum, bass or both?

Well to be honest I'd say both but hey it DID say "Dream" instrument it isn't like I'm going to get either, I'm fine with my CB kit and my Ibanez Bass.

EDIT:

Actually the kit belongs to Terry Bozzio, apparently he played with Frank Zappa but nobody cares about it since they're just looking at his kit. My drum teacher actually told me to look at his kit as an example of "Some wanker who thinks he's cool because his kit's the size of Luxembourg.

As kick-ass as that is, ( too bad all the notes seem a-tonal) I think Haruko Haruhara's guitar wins this contest, hands down. It shoots. It Explodes. It summons inter-spacial beings. It flies. It even plays music.

And it's got that badass chainsaw pull thing. Why? Who cares, it's fucking AWESOME.

I'd like to own and be able to play a glass harp(i think that's what they're called). Wine glasses filled with certain amounts of water, the rims are rubbed with the fingers causing a vibration which emits a note. I'd love to busk in the streets of Bath City with something like that.

Or steel drums, I like their sound. In real life I'm a crap pianist and guitarist.

TS WHY PUT EMG'S IN A £3000 GUITAR? JUST BUY SOMETHING MADE OF PLYWOOD AND GET THE SAME EFFECT

that, with a set of BareKnuckle Painkillers in it
