Well,I had a dream where I was a cook working and a couple of people in mask entered the back door loud and proud.I opened the cabinet and grabbed a shotgun and shot them...with beanbag shells. I waked up with a sudden state of increased senses.

They all make me say "WTF." Dreams don't make a lot of sense.
I think they do for normal people. Not that I would know, in mine I have to fight dragons to go bowling or join a side in a war between skeletons and zombies.

The most WTF dream I had would be a nighmare me and my friend shared. The dream itself wasn't any crazier than normal but the fact we were in the same dream was weird.

Most all dreams have that WTF factor. It's what makes them fun. But I did have a particularly noteable "WTF dreams" experience.

To set the scene, I was dead tired, and despite being in an upper-level engineering course at the time, I couldn't stay awake.

I quickly fell into a nightmare.

In this nightmare, I was strapped to a chair, being flayed alive, being tortured for information that I didn't know in a dark room. I dreamt this in great detail.

Before long, I had awoken, terrified out of my mind, panting heavily and clutching at my arms (which, of course, was what was being skinned in my dream). ...The guy next to me gave me the most priceless look of "WTF?" that I have ever seen.

I had a dream a few weeks ago that's stuck with me. For some reason it felt really prophetic, though I don't know why.

That sounds like the setup for a rather brilliant novel, and I actually greatly enjoyed reading it. Pretty awesome stuff.

Last night I dreamed that I was about to slip on ice when Sailor Mercury came to my aid. She almost slipped steadying me but we both recovered. Then we spontaneously broke into figure skating.

I?ve had another dream where there was this random timer on my computer counting down from 10, and the moment that it went to 0, I woke up.
I've had dreams similar to this. A counter or someone counting and then waking up at the climax. Like those dreams where you're about to die and wake up at the last second.
I've also had one lucid-ish dream where my mum and I were running from dinosaurs in some kind of spaceship. When we were cornered I said "fuck this. Mum, lets wake up."

I had a deam where some anime characters and I were running away from something and I had a portal gun with me.

I also had a dream during a leadership camp trip that I was on a water mattress(that was floating in the middle of the air)with a few classmates and we were trying not to fall off even though a few of us were standing up and moving around.
I woke up in the middle of the night wondering if I was really on a floating mattress, but it was just that I was on the top bunk.

Once I had a dream about being chased by living teddy bears. It was really scary.

In another one there were these giant flying whales that kept exploding.

I dreamt of being in a mall, at the opening where the department store joins the main hallway, watching a reporter get mauled by zombies, so I ran past into a gunshop that was still open, rummaging through a cardboard box on the counter of "discounted assorted rounds" frantically looking for handgun bullets.

Imagine you're looking at a labyrinth made of crystal from the inside.

Now imagine you're looking from the inside of one made of jade.

Now another made of granite.

Now overlay them all on top of the other.

Now unleash Brad Dourif.

Now make it last for hours.

That was a bad night.

Self explanatory title^^

I woke up remembering a dream where my body was in extreme pain. After getting out of bed I realized that I had a giant cramp in my leg. This isn't so much "what the hell happened" so much as it is a moment where I thought "the hell?" because normally I wake up from my sleep in the middle of my cramps and that was the first time i've slept trough one.

So what are some remarkable dreams you have had?

I should never have told my friends about this dream
Where I was in a room with two beds, worrying
about something (can't remember what) and trying to work out a solution to what I was worried about.
I was lying on the bed further from the door. Suddenly Annapuma & Unipuma from Dominion tank police
stumble through the door, locked in an embrace with each other, making out with each other. They fell
on to the other bed, and continued making out while pulling each others clothes off. While they did this
I *pulled the pillow around my head and thought "Do they HAVE to make SO much NOISE?"*

My friends will never let me live that one down.
I also have a recurring dream of opening my cell phone to turn off it's alarm, and the text on
the screen is in a language that I cannot read. Pretty sure it's because I am turning off the
cell alarm in my sleep.

I was dumbfounded in the most awesome way when I fought and beat a hulked out Frieza at some kind of medieval carnival. Even the cupcake couldn't save him.

I once had a dream where Patick Star grew giant and ate every one in Toronto... which was populated by peanuts for some reason. Eventually he shrank back down to normal by eating tons of krabby patties. I was 11 at the time.

I don't know what I was dreaming about but I woke up a few days ago trying to eat my pillow.

That was strange.

I once had a dream which literally consisted of nothing but a jumbled, incoherent, unmoving mess of various dull colors. Don't know WHAT that was about.

Another time, during a very bad fever, I dreamt that I was Mighty Thor, the Marvel superhero, trapped in the cargo hold of a fishing boat and getting crushed by a massive load of fish. When I woke up, I was lying on my back, arms and legs pointing straight upwards, holding my blanket up in the air like the top of a four-poster bed. Also, my ear was glued to the pillow. Turned out my earwax had melted. Yup - that was one bad fever!

My most memorable dream was one from high school. It was a senior skip day, so I decided the night before to skip school for the first time. I woke up at 6:30am and briefly considered running out to catch the bus, which would show up around then, but I went back to sleep. And then, out of nowhere, I was in my first-period calculus class. Had I blacked out? Had I actually run to the bus to get to school? Or was I dreaming? Everything seemed very detailed, so I wasn't sure. I thought I was probably dreaming, but I figured it would be a good idea not to risk it. The bell rang, and I headed off to my music history class. I considered just knocking people over in the hall, since it was probably a dream, but I decided to play it safe. I went to the bathroom and started peeing in one of the stalls, only to realize (oh dream cliche!) that I was in the boys' bathroom. And then I wondered how exactly I could see that it was the boys' bathroom when I was in the stall, and then I realized that the stall didn't actually have a door. I finished peeing and booked it out of there. I went to music class, and the art teacher was teaching it instead. And then I woke up.

Not really a weird dream, but really disorienting. And it made me think about how I would react to a dream-like situation in real life. I'm kind of glad that I didn't assume it was a dream. I want to be open-minded if weird things start happening in the real world.

One time my grandmother chased me through the woods, except she was like HUUUUGE and had the head of a moose and mooo'd at me all the time.

Another strange dream was that I was chased by my girlfriend, who had become a VERY fat policewomen (she is really very fit), then I tripped here and she rolled around like a snowball, which just made her angrier.

Now that I think about it, maybe I get chased alot in my dreams?

I basically fell asleep and had a dream that I was laying in bed looking at the ceiling like I was before I fell asleep. The room started shaking violently and there were alot of weird noises. I snapped awake and thought maybe I blinked so I looked at my clock and saw that I had slept for eight hours. Usually when you blink its about five or ten minutes not eight hours.

I had a dream last night that everything was fucked up because I went insane. I was seeing imaginary people, talking to them, hanging with them and other people were giving me freaky looks and I knew I was insane because the people frequently flickered in and out of existence. I was insane, but decided to just go with it... Then my car ended up smashed but I couldn't remember how, quit my job because I was annoyed or something, and had all my money go. I thought at some points that it must be a dream, and I kept trying to wake myself and eventually came to the conclusion that it wasn't a dream, so I was just freaking out in general because I thought I really had gone crazy and if I wasn't I was stuck in a dream.

Eventually I woke up and found that it actually was a dream, and I was so happy about that.

A few nights ago I had a dream that one of my best friends had a giant suitcase full of caramilk bars, he was acting like he'd just won the lottery or something

The most confusingly disturbing dream I had was one where I was at school on Remembrance Day- 11th of November. We were having a ceremony of sorts where we honoured and remembered all those who fought in WW1, and so on- the disturbing part was there were mutilated and decomposing bodies of dead soldiers everywhere- literally dozens. I remember being absolutely horrified in the dream, but no one else was, as everybody else was calming walking around the oval where the ceremony was being held casually observing all these dead bodies in various states of decomposition.
Probably represents something, but I've never really thought about it too hard because it makes my skin crawl.
