I tried search, but the only relevant result was about "creepy" dreams.

So i have a question for you guys, have you ever had a dream that wasn't necessarily bad or evil or scary, but just kind of made you sad? D= Tell us about them? =D

Suffice to say that i just woke up from one. It kind of combined elements from Garrysmod (Namely the Stargate add on, which is a tv show i know, but this is where i know it from) Fallout 3, and the little mermaid (underwater city), and a desert city (Alladin is credited to this o.o) I won't bore with details but it ended with the protagonist being separated from his love by one of the gates mentioned earlier, to end a war before it started. That's when i woke up =(

The weird thing is, i havn't seen either the little mermaid or alladin in years xD

The fallout 3 portion comes from the underwater city being vault like. Plus doors that have a little floating message labeling "Inaccessible". =D

I had a dream that some random lass came to my boyfriends house and starting doing him upstairs while I was downstairs.

That made me sad and I avoided my boyfriend for a few hours

I had a long dream about escaping from a mental asylum and at the end, mum told me I had to go back. I woke up crying. :(

I remember I once dreamed about my dog that we had to leave behind when my family moved. The exact details are a bit fuzzy, but I vividly recall waking up and feeling immensely depressed and guilty about leaving that dog behind.

It's not as bad in retrospect. Obi was an outside dog, and she probably had about ten different families from around the neighborhood feeding her on a regular basis, so I'm sure she got along just fine after we moved away. Still, it was pretty heart wrenching when I was 8.

I once dreamed that my mum put my old soft toys in the charity collection bin and that some but not all of the soft toys were taken away before I could rescue them. I woke up upset that some of them were left behind.

I once had a reather strange dream in which I was a common crane standing on a field outside my hometown. It was almost sunrise and there were three other cranes as well. One of them could speak and told me that the other two had to leave without ever coming back. I watched them fly towards the rising sun and felt really heartbroken.

That didn't only dazzle me, it shook something really deep. And now that I read it, it sounds like something Neil Gaiman could make up.

The night after breaking up with my ex I dreamt that I was sleeping with my arm round her as I had countless times before. Woke up and no one was there. Dammit it all =[

Also, a couple of months ago I was told that the dog I have had since I was 4 (I can barely remember a time without him, and he was bought as a present for me, so he's been a constant companion and awesome family member ever since) is starting to be unable to go for walks and things, which means he is in the last few months of his life and may not see next year. I've had a lot of bad dreams about losing him since then.

Well I dreamt that I had finally earned the love of the girl I have dreamt of for the last three years. My dream was filled with us hanging out together, making love tenderly, visitng my family, visiting her family, hanging out with mutual friends. Her getting pregnant all the way up to the birth of a son. Finally telling each other that we loved each other.
Then I woke up and realised it wasn't real.
I think that killed me inside.

I had dreams when I was about 7 or 8 where I would be abadoned by my parents and have to take care of myself and my brother on the streets. Sad times.

The only dream I can remember is from when I was little, There was a hurricane that killed my entire family, every one I knew, and left me stranded alone, where no matter how long I waited no-one came for me...

I had another dream where (And this gets really weird) I would go shopping with my mother and go to the freezer section. There she would touch a butterfly and go all evil. For some reason she then looked like Queen Amidala from Star Wars. Then she would chase me around the supermarket. Any attempts at asking the staff for help were ignored and the dad barred the way out. I turned to look at a screen, where I could see my mum climbing up pipes and the suddenly she would come out of the screen. Then I woke up. The scary part was that this was a recurring dream so every time I tried to stop her touching the butterfly but she always would.

I was 4 at the time.
