What game do you think has the best default weapon. Either the weapon you start off with or the weapon you use the most (so no rocket launchers). I've got to go with the Plasma Cutter in Dead Space. It's near the only thing you use and it's totally sweet.

Default weapon? The drill in Bioshock 2. Non-default? The MIRV in Fallout 3.

I have to agree with you there. The Plasma Cutter is pretty awesome, come to think of it, most of the weapons in Dead Space are pretty cool. Especially considering that all but one of the weapons are just improvised weapons made out of mining tools.

any shooter where the default starter is a pistol or double pistol with unlimited ammo. but as far as fav weapon id say railgun from fallout 3. TOOT TOOT!!

Gauss Rifle, in Crysis, or the SCAR. I always used the Gauss, but the SCAR was better all around, I just never used it.

Joking aside, I got really good with the M4A1 in Battlefield: Bad Company. Sure, it was only a midrange weapon, but I liked the Iron Sights and knew how to use it for any kind of mission. Beyond that one, I really couldn't say what weapon has been my favorite Default. There have been so many throughout the years...

I'll pretty much ALWAYS stick with the default gun in a game, since I usually get attached to it over time and don't feel like replacing it.

Unless it's one of those games where you get a gun that almost never gets ammo throughout a mission.

Well, The portal gun is techincally your default weapon in Portal, because you don't start with one.

For a starter weapon I always thought the dual Silverballers from the Hitman series are cool.

Non-default, I would say all of the custom weapons you can make on Fallout 3.

It isn't very flashy but the SCAR-H in MW2 is like a magic stick you point at things you want to die.

Not enough bullets in the thing though.

That or Syphon Filters tazer. You use your petty guns, I have a tazer...

I guess I'm the only one that likes the gravity gun. Especially when it's upgraded. *sigh* memories of mass destruction...
