they arnt that good at doing a multi game either, the pc version of borderlands took months before you could play it multi without going tho a 3rd party program since they fucked up on its port forwarding, hell the pc version used gamespy, you only use gamespy if you dont expect people to play it multiSelvec said:Then why didn't Gearbox just use an inventory wheel, in which you pick two weapons to assigns to buttons?Worgen said:Im gonna blame consoles for this since they didnt have as many buttons to work with as they wanted, consoles and poor choices of control options
I'm sorry, but your being blind. Its Gearbox fault. Borderlands was a shitty singleplayer FPS experience, and so is DNF. Borderlands might be fun multi, but if you play single you'll realise just how crap Gearbox is at designing games.
No it doesn't. In duke nukem forever, Duke is a sissy boy that cannot take more than five bullets to the chest and needs to run from cover to cover. That alone makes the game suck. It just doesn't feel awesome to run from cover to cover, hiding from pigs.parasyteFMA said:Seriously, people are expecting way too much out of this game. Of course it won't live up to the 14 year hype. Anyone hyping it really needs to calm down and realize there is no possible way that it's going to match up to anything these days. It needs to live up to Duke standards and from what I've seen of the game, it does.
What is with this red text? Most of your posts that I've seen have had red text.The7Sins said:Well sounds like all the goodwill Gearbox got from me due to Borderlands has in 1 game been ripped to shreds. (sigh)
Well if Gearbox does make another Duke Nukem game hopefully they go back to the good ole days of Duke Nukem 3D in gameplay. If they do then I'll write off DNF as having most of its horrid ripping out of gameplay be the fault of 3D Realms and whoever else worked on it. Until that time however Gearbox will have to shoulder some of the disappointment of mine from this horrid attempt @ a Duke Nukem sequel.
That's why I opened with a list of facts.SageRuffin said:I never played a Duke Nukem game before (and old enough to have played them all, XBLA notwithstanding), so this sounds like little more than simple word-of-mouth to me. Could you be entirely accurate? Of course. Could you be entirely inaccurate? Of course again.
Depends, did this game launch with mod tools?Alexander Cunningham said:How long do you think it will be until the fans mod this game shitless?
Doubt it SDK's seem to be a thing of the past just like DukePedro The Hutt said:Depends, did this game launch with mod tools?Alexander Cunningham said:How long do you think it will be until the fans mod this game shitless?![]()

I am aware.Revolutionary said:Um it wasn't released 4 days early, that's just the international release date.
North america-14th, International - 10th. Why? I don't know. either way, you should have researched that a bit better.
I seriously can't wrap my head around this one! Who the FUCK, thought this was a good idea for a Duke Nukem game?Zhukov said:- Yes, there is a 2-weapon limit. Although you also get pipe bombs, trip mines and Halo-style melee on top of that.
That'll be a good 9.99 steam buy ;DZhukov said:EDIT: Oh yeah, almost forgot. There are naked breasts. Quite a lot of them in fact. If you find the prospect of polygonal boobs and blunt innuendo genuinely appealing then, well... don't worry, that whole puberty thing will be over soon.
