Duke nukem forever Pax 2010 footage

First footage from the playable demo of the fabled Duke Nukem Forever that of which has been in production for a staggering 13 years. It is now being developed by Borderlands creators Gearbox software.


By the looks of things we might actually finally be able to see a release of this game in the near future!

I'd rather have a sequel to Borderlands than Duke Nukem. From the not particularly great footage you can see it looks like a shooter, with many a shade of brown and grey to behold.

Are you kidding? This is Duke Nukem Forever which through some reason or another is more overly hyped than Jesus Christ. The chance to say how shitty it is, especially after his point was that it was going to be shit (if it were even made at all) in his first review. I can't see him not reviewing it. Unless maybe it's good, but I don't think we have to worry about that.

Why do Gearbox make everything they touch boring? Duke Nukem is about super fast-paced shooting, cheesy one liners and carrying fun and huge mega weapons in a variety of environments. That looked brown with some grey mixed in and using boring old military weapons we've only seen in every game ever. I guess it's only a tiny part we saw but still...

This isn't CoD: WhyNotJustMakeAZombieGameAlready or MoH: LumberjackBeardWars, this is Duke Nukem. Something rather engraved into the whole video game thing. People are going to be pissing themselves over it, and he's going to want to be there to tell them to shut the fuck up.

He's already done a review, it'd make sense to do a follow up review.
