Why's it bad because of that? Wheatley's a Moron, and GlaDOS is psychotic. Making bad decision fitted their characters.
I disagree...
The hilarious Moron, instead of making funny quips whilst being hilariously incompetent, became the villain you had to outsmart.
By the way, GlaDOS repeatedly says he was "designed to be stupid" but he's obviously the smartest damn thing in Aperture. He's clearly smarter than GlaDOS, making far better decisions than her again and again, tricking and trapping both of you on multiple occasions.
And GlaDOS is psychotic, yes. You know what you do with a psychotic character? You make them frightening, dangerous. You do not put them in a potato.
God damn it.
I don't think the decisions fitted them at all. I'm quite happy to declare Portal 2 non canon and just settle for portal 1.

J.K. Rowling randomly declaring Dumbledore as gay. I have nothing wrong with gay people, but that made no sense.
The man who constantly wears a purple cloak, half moon spectacles and often speaks about some of his very close relationships with other men in his past life and having never had a wife or relationship with a female is gay...

Stop the presses.
Are you saying a man with half moon glasses and purple cloak has to be gay? Purple is my favorite color and i could see myself wearing half moon glasses when I get older. I never got a gay vibe from him when he talked about his friends, and I do not remember him saying he enver had a relationship with a woman.
I'm not saying he has to be, but those are hardly qualities generally associated with heterosexuality.
And not that he said he never had a relationship with a woman, but rather, nothing ever indicated that he had.

And finally, if you never got a sense that he might have fallen in love with one of his male friends before, then perhaps you should read more carefully. As Rowling saw it, Dumbledore had fallen in love with Grindelwald, adding to the horror of what he eventually became, and the depth of their relationship.

I just don't understand how a character that has never been alluded to being one sexuality or the other or expressed a love interest in any female can seem "wrong" to be gay. I don't know what you mean by "it made no sense". What does a character have to do for it to be okay for them to be gay? Have rainbows shoot out their eyes, cross dress and speak in a high pitched camp voice about fashion trends?

Geez.

You are trying to make me out to be the ass. Not saying you are either. No I just never got a gay vibe from him. An old guy usually doesn't go around talking to teenagers saying hey dude you see that ***** I wore her out. I always saw him as seeing Grindelwald as a brother not a lover. Though hey it can be seen both ways sure I suppose.

Not that he would have to say it, the book's narrative could have translated that he had a pass relationship with a woman, which was my point, not that he said it.
But dude, my point is, what's a "Gay Vibe"? Did you get a "Straight Vibe" from him? I know heterosexuality is more common, but why is it default? Why does a character have to be gay enough to give a "vibe" in order to be gay?
It just sounds like you think gay people act totally different. /Shrug

Sorry if I came out too belligerent. Didn't intend to imply anything negative about your character.

Anything and everything Bishop did in Neverwinter Nights 2.

And at the end
him betraying me. It made no sense in context

Oh, and in Eragon:

Eragon is flying on dragon back and notices Brom is being chased by Urgals. He lands between them, and tries to throw all the Urgals with telekinetic magic instead of killing them. All because of some "I hate killing" thing. There's making a deep character with inner-conflicts about what he has to do, and then there's just making a transparent ninny.
This also being from a guy who hunted as part of his living on a regular basis not too long before this.

My contributions:
Civilians with guns in HL2. Let's all run out in front of/crowd really close to a guy who everywhere he goes most things die or go wrong only to be fixed by him killing lots of shit with lots of guns and heavy ordinance or by it blowing up as he leaves or so that he can leave.
Starcraft II ranged units running only up to their maximum attack range against base defenses and immediately starting to fire when they are in a huge squad and preventing the others from firing as well.
Emon in Shadow of the Colossus deciding that the best way to kill a guy possessed of the power of an old god would be to shoot it in the leg and then stab it in the chest with a regular-ass sword. All while insulting him on his foolishness instead of grabbing the sacred sword right away.
Finally, Sasuke's every action after the first two or three major events.

I'm not exactly sure what the gay vibe is, but I get them from characters and people sometimes. Whether it be a book a videogame character or a real person. Dumbledore didn't give me one. People say Sam and Frodo from the lotr movies were mega gay to them I didn't see it. I'm not able to think of one right now, that did make me feel a gay vibe. Maybe it was just how I develop the character in my mind. I don't know.

Hey man no problem you didn't offend me or anything. Just letting you know it did sound kind of aggressive.
