Dumbest Way You Have Hurt Yourself

The time I almost drowned myself accidently in the bath, or the time I touched an iron to see how hot it was. Or the time I plugged in a fan by the metal prongs.

I swear I'm not an idiot.

I saw a fence that was labeled "Electric fence" so I grabbed it to see just how electric it was.

Then I got kicked really hard by a goat.

The fence wasn't even turned on, but the goat kick was painful...

Accidently stabbed myself in the palm of my right hand. Twice.
Opened a dresser drawer, causing the mirror on top of it to fall on my head and cut skin.
Placed my hand on the exhaust pipe of my dad's truck. Why? Don't know.

I got stung by a wasp at 2AM because I thought it was a fly and tried to pick it up.

Oh, and in AP Chemistry I burned my fingers on a 473 K crucible because the scale wasn't zeroed out correctly and I forgot to use the tongs. I had blisters for a month...

Oh, and two weeks ago I was playing softball in P.E. and tripped while running to first base, skinning my left knee badly enough that I had to go inside to clean it off. Still have a scab there.

Oh, and last week when I was walking this dog I was petsitting, I went down to pick up after it pooped and it leaped forward. The retractable leash flung out of my hand, smacked my teeth and then followed the dog, which I then chased for five minutes.

If you can't guess, I hurt myself in stupid ways often...

I tried to get sleep out of my eye and ended up poking myself squarely in the eye. It hurt.

I was in the hallway in school one time and I went to slam my friend's locker shut on him. Instead of closing, it hit the wall, shot back, and nailed me in the face.

At 1 point, I ended a conversation with a friend, turned around to leave, and walked right into a door my dad was opening.

Also, I touched a soldering iron once. Ow.

I cut a big chunk of my thumb from a Washing machine door. You know those little hook things that the lock the door. Yea, I cut myself on that and it was pretty deep.

Also getting electrocuted while trying to change my light bulb...after coming out of the shower.

You have bad luck don't you?

I once almost killed myself walking backwards in a campsite when I tripped over a rotten stump and got a gash on the inside of my thigh. Worst part is you can't really show scars down there in casual conversation, so I'm not able to even brag about it.

I also once broke my toe and ripped open the nail bed by snagging my foot on a rug. That one was just pathetic.

When I was little I was eating a lollipop and the thing smashed in two and the sharp part stabbed the roof of my mouth.... There was a lot of blood and pain

I was in the car, waiting for my mum to get back, so I started fidgeting with the car cigarrette lighter. Suffice it to say that merely putting it on for a second is enough to make you hurt. A LOT.

And yes, I was curious.

So many different ways... but, one time, I jumped over a couch and a staple was sticking out of the top, and it sliced my knee open...

Oh same thing happened to me but with a small metal horse with pointy ears... Looks like I had a knee surgery and over 7 years have passed

I also cracked my tooth while eating pop corn...

Broke my teeth by biting a pencil when angry in first grade.

3 stitches by punching a glass panel trying to get attention of he people outside to notice they locked the door. Ah, and I could've gone to the other room and have checked the opened window.

i was sitting on the front of a bike as a child and put my foot inbetween the spokes of the front wheel and got shot over the handle bars and got over by the bike. i broke my leg in 2 places and fractured my pelvis.

deliberatly put my duvet on the stairs to slide down like a car when tripped over duvet and face planted the floor

This isn't a story about me, but rather my step-grandpa. He was in his barn standing on two ladders with a board between them trying to take down a piece of wood with a chainsaw. The chainsaw hit metal and slipped off the board and cut a hole through his leg to the bone. It didn't break the bone or anything, but it did tear through all of the muscle. So, instead of just calling 9-1-1 and having them meet him at the barn, which was next to a busy road, he called my great-aunt, had her call them, and then drove back to his house. The paramedics beat him there. :/

I was dancing in my very small apartment, and knocked my space heater onto my ankle. My ankle turned purple and swelled up quite a bit. And I wasted my last bag of frozen peas.

My mates wrapped me up in masking tape from feet to my neck so I could only hop and I had no hands to stop myself from faceplanting. So I hopped across a field and did just that smacking my head on a tree and knocking myself out.........on camera.

i cutt mine on the edge of a reeses once.... you know, the chocolates eith peanut butter in them? the ones that are always half melted when you get them in my great state of florida? i cut my tongue on a half melted reeses edge....
