I rode down a slide that 2 feet pass the end their was a 2 1/2 foot drop to a stone floor.
I would have been alright if we didn't find that shopping cart.

I stuck a staple in a electric socket to see what would happen in like preschool or something. I set my bed on fire doing it.

For some reason in the middle of the night, I punched the wall and split my knuckle open. It was like out of Kill Bill.

Also on a different time in bed, I had to wake up fairly early and I cranked the volume on alarm. So obviously it was blaring and I reached up in a desperate attempt to shut it off, but instead I knocked it off the ledge and it fell directly on my face giving me a fat lip. I guess it did it's job because I definitely was awake after that.

The award WAS going to go the the flat head screw driver through the finger, but it instead goes to the incident that very well could have killed me...

I was mowing the lawn, and I accidentally ran over one of those thin metal flags they use to mark electrical flags. It turns out that it's thin enough to get hit by the blade and be shot out through the grass clippings flap.

At 200 MPH.

It slashed open my leg, if it was traveling at a different angle or even a few inches to the right I could have been seriously fucked up.

I fell out of a tree.
On two separate occasions. The first time, I broke my tailbone. The second was a short fall, so no harm was done to anything but my pride.
That is probably the most humbling way to hurt yourself: you get hurt just enough for it to ruin your day, but not not so much that you elicit anything more than hysterical laughter from onlookers. :[

When I was pretty young I was playing Ocarina of Time and I got up to walk over to look at the online strategy guide I was using and I slipped on my dog's chew toy and fractured my elbow.

I am seriously not going to go into this...it's actually a long and uninteresting story, but ill Tarantino it for ya and tell you the end.

a totaled 69 impala (not unbelievably cherry, but precious nun the less).
42 stitches.
$650 in property damage.

the moral is...and this WILL be my epitaph

THERE IS NO GOOD WAY TO EAT CHILI AND DRIVE.

Well, I read all 9 pages of injuries, and feel like a total wimp for this, but:
NOTHING.
Not one major injury.
No fractures, broken bones, torn ligaments, nothing.

Went to work one morning, pretty tired and out of it, and smashed my forehead into the corner of the big super-heavy entry door. Just swung it open and somehow managed to walk right into it at the same time. Still have a scar from that one (actually I have a few forehead/eyebrow-area scars, but that one was my own dumb fault). Also, I stabbed myself in the cheek with a screwdriver when I was trying to pry open a file cabinet I had accidentally locked myself out of. Oh yeah, and I "zipped" myself once, if ya get my drift, but it wasn't that bad. Oh, and one more, I was drunk in the mountains one time and I did a kinda-sorta jump-kick-thing over this railing and rolled down a slope into a tree. Wasn't really hurt by that one, but yeah, it was dumb. There are probably others as well, but I'll quit now.

Ok I was at school during grade 9 and my friend and i are just walking back at the end of lunch break after going to the diner, we are almost at the school and i decide to hop the rest of the way backwards on one foot. i get about thirty feet and then arrive at the fence. there is a gap in the fence that is blocked by a chain hung at knee height that hangs down to about ankle height(for some odd reason). So i start hopping that way, my friend looks at me with a raised eyebrow then my ankle hooks on the chain and i fly backward through the air. first and last time i had a concussion.

Hopping Backwards FTW.

Walked right into my couch, my pinky toe was purple for a good two weeks. That was from WALKING into my couch....

I also grabbed a hot tray of cookies out of the oven with only one hand, when I realized it was too heavy, I reacted by grabbing it with my other hand which had no oven mitt on it. I saved the cookies though.

My family used to own a golf course in the middle of a horse race track (Stupid i know). We had these small white barrels to mark every 100 feet or so. Well one day i was messing around on one of them and suddenly i hear this rather large object heading my way. Turn around, unlucky for me my sister was learning how to drive. My first instinct was to jump out of the way. I got the jumping part but the moving....not so much. She hits the barrel, i hit the hood and then the ground. I assume i was knocked out, don't remember shit all after that.
