Dumdest A.I in a video game

The German sniper that can shoot you through walls. I rage every time I remember Reznov saying "YOU ONLY WOUNDED HEEM."

The banzai chargers who run past you to get to other people or vice versa, and that bit on Semper Fi when the Japs are pretending to be dead, I empty a whole clip into one of them but he still gets up and stabs one of my friends.

Seriously, how could they take COD4's brilliant gameplay and atmosphere and f*** it up so bad?

L4d. when u start playing the game on higher difficulty, they seem blonde dumb.
also in AOM. they NEVER attack you. NEVER. i´ve played it since i was 7 or 8 (im 13) and i´ve never seen a bot attack me. me against 3 bots theres on team with each other is scrwd coz they never attack. EVER.

Are you talking about Age of Mythology? Because if you are I'd have your copy checked out, playing through the campaign are times when you are *meant* to be attacked, and if that didn't happen there would be no point to the game.

Dumbest AI for me would be the human NPC's in Alien Versus Predator. I'm usually just happy to let them die, regardless of mission.

Not that its totally crap, its just there are so many customisable options that dont really make much diference. Either way, on any difficulty configuration, you get to about 10 minutes and they only have like 20 tanks when you have like 300 tanks, 2000 men, 3 billion ships and a megaweapon. little exaderation maybe, but still fricking annoying cause theres just no challenge

Honestly, the best AI in that game is the freaking zombies.
At least they got their part right, "trudge forwards aimlessly, lunge at passing living things, fall down"

If you've never tried to herd the survivors in Dead Rising, then you've never seen truly bad A.I.

Actually there's worse AI even in that game, if it can be called AI.
Why must Otis always call when you're in the middle of a HORDE of zombies? /sigh

Really go play it, even if you are directly giving them commands the AI is still atrocious, and lets not even bring up the unit pathfinding.

When it came to crap friendly AI I didnt use them at all. It only mattered to me if I needed them to help win a level or match against really difficult AI. Playing Unreal Tournamnet III in insane I found the friendly bots you got on your team to help you even if you were doing co-op sucked ass. If you weren't in co-op it was you against 4 or 5 godlike AI on a small CTF match... How the hell could I possibly do that?! Why don't the AI on your side get more skilled as well when you turn up the difficulty... It even happens in multiplayer.

it was Age of Mythology. i´ve done the campaigns several times. i know its the meaning the A.I attacks sometimes. but strateticly seen blondes can do better.
