Dungeon Siege III demo impression... Should I even bother?

So, I have decided to try the Dungeon Siege III demo, but stopped playing it soon after...

- The intro movie + story was boring, simplistic and uninspiring.
- The controls suck and there is no option to change them.
- The graphics looks *ugh* can't even describe it. It looks just bad.
- The level design seems linear, narrow and simple (from what little I could tell so far)

The game is off to a great start. Dragon Age II is better than this. Yes, you heard me right. Now excuse me while I'm going back to The Witcher 2.

My disappointment for Dragon Age II is because of the expectation based on Dragon Age I. If I look at Dragon Age II separately, its a pretty decent game.

I thought the demo sucked. As in, it was a bad demo. It did a bad job of showing the game off.

I was hoping for a fun game to play in coop with my friends. But after the demo... I dunno if I should tell my friends to buy the game... It just didn't leave a good impression on me.

My highest hope was that it would at least be tactical. But it seemed more button mashy and attack spammy than tactical. Then again most of the fights were too easy. Maybe the game would be much more difficult and require a lot more tactics on it's highest difficulty during the full game.

I really hope it doesn't boil down to spam attack, muder everything on screen.

IMO, if you wanna play something, either go with Dragon Age II or wait for The Witcher 2.

EDIT: Though (ironically) the controls might work for the console. I can't really say. But that's still no excuse to screw the PC version.

Well, it's been a while since I played the first Dungeon Siege, but that's pretty much my memory of the game really. A very simple spammy Diablo clone.

Of course, it's been ages since I played it.

I´m actually downloading it right now.
After reading the steam-blurp I pretty much had to.

I just have to know if the story ACTUALLY rips off Dragon Age/The Grey Wardens as much as this makes it sound.
