Interesting that most, if not all, of what you said were all mentioned in TotalBiscuit's mailbox.

But you are right, I am definately not a big fan of any of that stuff but unfortunately this has been the case anyways. Companies keep finding ways to nickel and dime their consumers, and people are ok with it so it becomes the norm, which really sucks.

And games not being localised is also really silly as well. I'm pretty sure that those games get much more sales in the US (and sometimes europe) than japan anyways. It's a great way of showing good will to your consumers. Why games don't get localised when requested by a large public is beyond me.

Regardless, the Wii is a legit console and Monster Hunter Tri is a legit, original title in the series.

Since when? Every time I've had a problem they fixed it in less than 10 minutes. The one time it took longer was an issue just an error in information and, once identified, was fixed.

Well that's not really any different than what Steam does. And besides EA is a business not a charity. And as much as I have ragged on services like Steam for being glorified DRM (because they are) they are probably why triple A PC gaming is still around today. Publishers don't really want to spend money on a PC exclusive when they won't sell as many as a console version and it's going to be pirated a lot more than if it was on a console. Digital distribution services like Steam significantly cut down on costs and allow companies to take in a higher profit margin on PC titles, while cutting down on piracy somewhat. Piracy may not be as bad as everyone says but it's bad enough that publishers take it seriously.

This still could work out in our favor. Now that EA has it's own digital distribution service they might see the PC platform as more profitable and release more PC games. EA also has a massive back catalog of great games made by great developers. If they're smart they'll throw them up on Origin. This will also provide some much needed competition to Steam. Not only could we have more Steam sales, we could also have Origin sales on top of it. Of course this is only if EA is smart about implemnting this system and offers some nice incentives to customers. And of course if it actually works. I'll reserve judgement for it when it's actually.

Don't know anything about this. I lost interest in the Old Republic when it became clear that there weren't going to be space battles.

Although Monster Hunter-Tri was the second highest rated game on the wii for awhile Monster Hunter just is not the phenomenon in the West as it is in Japan. Let's face it they are really hard for newcomers to learn. Even though Tri was supposedly the most newbie friendly Monster Hunter game, it's still really tough to learn. You have to put in a significant amount of time to learn all the games nuances, and most gamers in the West for whatever reason aren't willing to do that. Even Yahtzee gave up on it in frustration.

Yeah Capcom does put some pretty bullshit things with some of their games. But thankfully they don't do it with all of them. I just don't buy the ones with the bullshit stuff.

I don t understand why people jumped on here thinking i hate this companys! I LOVE THEM! It just iv noticed recently they have been acting a little wierd EA makes awsome games and fix problems as fast as they can, its just recently they have been money crazy, capcom i love there new IP's like dead riseing and LP(witch is just monster hunter with guns)
