What are your thoughts on EA (electronic arts)? I personally hate this company because of its practice of buying small independent game developers mainly for their intellectual property and then lets them go to hell. Also the quality of games it puts out is consistently lower than other companies such as Activison. It also ruins potentially good franchises *cough* mercenaries *cough*. What are your opinions? i guess im bascially just ranting but im curious. what do you think?

i hate EA. the only good games they have made so far has been the LOTR games.

also, everything in my Dragon Age: Collectors edition besides the game disc didnt work, so fuck them for having me spend an extra 30$ on 2 DLC codes and a soundtrack that didnt function.

With the exception of Dead Space and Dragon Age, nothing they have done is good.

Maybe if Dante's Inferno is good, I'll give them another chance, but so far, no.

Odd though that all their best games start with "D" and are 2 words.

Battlefield 2 is great, in fact the whole Battlefield series is better than Call of Duty. Also the first Ps1 game I had was Medal of Honor, back when EA's logo was a square, circle and triangle arrangement.

Go to hell is all I can say to EA. For every good, original, fun game they turn out (see Mirror's Edge etc.), they churn out around 300 rubbish, run-of-the-mill recycled templates.

Crysis, Dead Space, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Need for Speed, Future Cop LAPD, Burnout Paradise, Battlefield 2, etc were all fantastic games.

They bought Pandemic and then they destroyed them. So naturally I'm not very fond of EA. But I thought Bioware made Dragon Age and EA just published it.

There are actual people working as a team in the Battlefield games, compared to the whole "DUDE YOU STOLE MY KILL YOU EFFING NOOB ***** LOL!!!" mentality of Call of Duty.
