I'm looking for a new pair of earbuds and headphones because my ipod earbuds are almost completely destroyed. Any suggestions? What are your favorite?

Anything Sienhiezer seems to last quite well, from my personal experiences anyway.

I have a really great pair of earbuds. I don't know the model name, but they're Panasonic in ear earbuds, and they're grayish black. The sound quality is great, they stay in your ears, and I haven't yet had any of the problems that usually affect headphones and earbuds after a few months (i.e. Sound only coming in through one ear unless the wires are positioned correctly). Best of all, they're cheap!

I got a pair of blue Sony earbuds at Target a few months back. They've served me quite well so far.

Get the sony $20 dollar ones at best buy, the best headphones you will ever have.
Sorry, but this is the worst advice you can take when looking for headphones.

Unlike most other things, price and quality are not proportionate, and there are so many others in the price bracket that it would be a waste of your money to not do some research, as the difference in quality can be huge.

Try Koss Portapro headphones, they're regarded as one of the best cheap (~$20) headphones you can get.

As a non industry guru, my best advice comes in a form factor advice. I find that my biggest problem with earbuds comes from them falling out. If you have similar problems, I would suggest earbuds that have something which wraps around the ear.

I currently use these(White): http://www.bestbuy.com/site/JVC+-+Sports-Clip+Earbud+Headphones+-+Purple/9684812.p?skuId=9684812&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=9684812&ref=06&loc=01&id=1218146396339

They aren't the loudest, but they're loud enough. Base comes through reasonably for buds, and I was surprised out how much outside noise they block for earbuds. I put the smallest outside thingy on them. Best of all, I can jump rope with them. They really don't fall out.

A couple years back, I ended up getting new earbuds, and it was a relatively expensive top end set by sony I think. They ended up sounding alright, but were uncomfortable as a proctologist exam. Two days after getting them, while going to work and running to catch a bus with them on, they fell out of my ears and I stomped on them, then I cursed loudly...

I ended up just buying a cheap $14 set of earbuds by JVC with the soft tips because I didn't want to dish out on expensive ones again, and you know what? They sound just as good (I'm no audiophile I guess), still work fine years later, and are a hell of a lot more comfortable than those overpriced Sony ones.

So my advice is just find ones that look comfortable.

Is price an object? it sort of was for me so I went with earbuds that werent super expensive but were very good quality and about $80

http://www.amazon.com/Klipsch-IMAGE-S4-Noise-Isolating-Headphones/dp/B001V9LPT4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1278800910&sr=1-1

and then there is the other version thats $20 more but has the apple buttons.

EDIT: Also, hella comfy and they come with multiple tips to fit your ear.

I have a pair of skull candy ear buds that are fantastic, the only thing I dont like is that they are the kind that goes in your ear, but other than that they have great sound and have lasted for me at least quiet awhile.
