Playing Apogee Math Rescue I think. Either that or the games "Paganitzu" and "Alleycat". All on an old Amstrad PC. PC gamer from the very beginning it would seem.

Screwing around in the overworld of Spyro: Year of the Dragon instead of actually doing the levels that my brother insisted were the point of the game.
I miss the good old days of games like Spyro and Crash Bandicoot.

Little home console with attached knobs for control and only played one game. It was a terribly boring toy, but it's the first I can remember. A short time later my brothers introduced me to a place called "the arcade." It was there that a gamer was truly born, one quarter at a time. Games like

and

really hooked me.

Pretty much me watching my bro playing Tetris with the themetune being played loud. Granted I did play it after him but I suck on it during that time.

Same for me. Pong at home, Elevator Action, Donkey Kong, Moon Patrol and the likes at the Arcade.
Good times!

Trying to eat all the berries in yoshi's home in Super Mario World. It was one screen, with a large tree like thing and about 8 or 9 berries, and I wanted all those berries. Some of those were just out of reach and sometimes when trying to get the last one, I would accidentally jump out of the side of the screen and back into the overworld.

ahh, good times...

My Dad and I playing Space Invaders (the PC one that was released in 2000) on co-op every Sunday but never completing it. One thing I always remember about that is killing the Uranus boss in 2 or 3 seconds because we had all of the power ups.

Also I will always have fond memories of Crash Team Racing despite never having owned a PlayStation. Numerous friends and relatives had copies and I believe it might have been the first video game I played. I spent countless hours at their houses playing it and had a tantrum every time I had to leave.

The same thing I say every time a thread like this shows :D

Some of you kids might be too young to know this, but Sonic used to be good :D

I mean really good.

Like, before Michael Jackson fell into musical obscurity, good.
I see your Sonic 1 nostalgia and I raise you with something even nostalgia....er!

The good ol' Sega Master System. Very first console I could ever call my own.
The good old days....*sniff*

Earliest I can recall was Super Mario 64 on a TV monitor in Canada at the age of 3, or at least I think it was. I remember Mario running around this dark gray chamber with paintings hung on the walls, and Mario jumping into some of them.
It scared me.

Playing monochrome ASCII Unix games like Digger on my Dad's work computers. Oh yes, I'm feeling my age...

I can remember being dragged up with a weird mix of classics. Including games on the Acorn Archimedes (with its massive 1MB of RAM) such as

Mad Professor Moriarty

Or classic RTS' of the time, Red Alert:

This would be when I was about say 5ish?

I remember playing DOOM when I was 4. That didn't end too well for DOOM guy. I beat the first level with less than half of my health, which looking back, I'd question whether or not that's possible.
