Don't you think it is strange that we find this planet relatively the same time Reach comes out? I mean, just sayin'...

hmmm, then the question is if the life form is even developed enough to communicate...or that maybe our presence can make them instantly die from sickness or the other way around

That's what saddens me. Knowing I'll never get to visit another planet...

Awesome =) It'll be interesting to see new things about this planet as they discover them. Then humans can very carefully sit on their hands and not go and mess things up there ;-P

Well then, time to go secure it in the name of the God Emperor. Who is with me!?
FOR THE EMPEROR!
Though its rotation sounds similar to that of Mordian and no Imperium would be complete without an Iron Guard.

The religious implications are going to be fun to watch. Lets see what the Vatican does here.
Well the Vatican will probably do nothing because honestly we cant say for sure weather or not theres life on the planet right now it looks like theres a really good chance for life like an amazing one but as of right now they cant really prove there is so it doesn't really have any religious implications yet. I myself really hope there is life there sad to think we probably wont get there in my lifetime though.

I've seen this before. It was really only a matter of time. It's not like we're the only planet with a yellow sun.

Actually Pope Benedict surprised me when he announced somewhat recently that the vatican has launched it's own efforts to make contact with alien life, and find earthish planets like this one.

Also, this is very cool. I'm sure if there's life on it, it's only got microbes, as much as I want it to be a planet colonized by Soft and Hard ones... The Gods Themselves =p

Hell, I don't want another planet like ours to be found. Knowing us effin' humans we'd probably mess it up somehow. I would like us to keep away from it please.

Not the first time they've said that is it ? And honestly what would be easier, transforming a planet, or faster than light speed travel ? And just because you can breath the air (i didnt read the article) what about gravity and day and radiations and minerals ?

Even if it is exactly like Earth, the chances of finding life (or intelligent life, for that matter) are extremely low.

So, I'm fairly sure it's nothing special.
