Correlation? I doubt it, but let's say there IS a correlation between earthquakes and scantily clad women.

Causation? This is a tricky one. Are women wearing less causing earthquakes, or are earthquakes causing women to wear less?

Maybe the prayer leader's been in a coma for 20 days. Oh well even if by some divine intervention women wearing revealing attire is causing shifts in tectnoic plates I needn't worry, I do live in Australia after all. Now let's see what's on telley tonight
*Ahem [http://sify.com/news/western-australia-shaken-by-largest-earthquake-in-50-years-news-international-keul4cjagfh.html]* *cough* [http://www.smh.com.au/national/adelaide-rattled-by-earthquake-20100417-skw5.html].

Anyway, I love how he jumps from women tempting men to causing earthquakes. I mean, while the whole "women who dress skimpily are asking to be raped" thing is horrifically wrong and insulting to the self-control of men, you can at least see the line of thought, but I fail to see the relation between men being tempted and earthquakes.

I cant even put in words how truly ridiculous that is...

I mean...just....what?

I know what it is! When women wear shorts or skirts, the dead skin cells that would normally fall off their legs into their pants, instead hit the ground. All those skin cells hitting the ground at once causes earthquakes. Whew. Good thing I figured that out. And here I thought this guy was crazy...

Funny how when Hurricane Katrina hit people were blaming it on loose morals and the enabling of "fags and dykes" as one preacher so lovingly put it. But the one place that didn't get flooded was the Red Light District.

Interesting, yet has he not noticed countries where women are even less modest that Iran...aka the entirety of the West, have not had so many earthqukes?
Intersting logic isn't it.

If this man is right, we could create a whole new mountain range if we just pile enough naked women ontop of each other!
Sounds like a good business idea.

Further highlighting the horror! And nice explanation, by the way.

On my first week at the university, the uni. newspaper published a letter from a reader, about an add that had appeared in it, which featured a naked person (naturally in a posture that didn't reveal anything 'important'). The woman was furious, and asked if we found it strange that God is causing all those worldwide disasters when we just showed pictures like that.
Yeah, we're a bit shy on natural distasters in the Netherlands (despite our gay marriage laws and all that other stuff), so now God was killing random people in the Third world, who tend to be much more religious, just because he was upset about pictures of naked people in another country.
I knew the university was founded as a Christian institute, but yikes, I really wondered what I had gotten myself into. Fortunately, they also ran my retributal letter, and in fact during the rest of my stay there I wasn't bothered by fanatics anymore. Most fundies stayed away from the physics department, or the technical science building in general for that matter.

Don't you know? Gays do cause hurricanes, but they also project a rainbow shield that protects them from the said hurricanes.

Ahhh, religious fanatics.....

is there anything they won't say?
No. Not if it suits them.

Actually though, to be honest I read the title and thought this was going to be some joke about the Minotaur (yes, THE Minotaur, anyone who doesn't know why please kindly remove yourself from the genepool).
