Meat protein is important for continuing brain development and maintaining brain function. Meat is also a much more efficient source of protein than plant matter is. Unless you really like mushrooms, anyway; but technically that's a fungus. And if you plan on being physically active at all, your muscles will crave protein, so having a ready source of it is definitely a good thing.

Because alot of us wouldn't be hear if it weren't for eating meat, you know like storing fat for the winter and also gaining vital nutrients, plus its natural because of our fangs and the fact we have an appendix (though not functional anymore being that we cook all of our meat) shows that we are made to eat meat. Plus were an alpha predator though instead of using instinct and brawn we instead use our evolved intelligence to develop ways of caputring, killing and eating animals. Also, its damn well tasty. So really in a way, without eating meat a lot of veggies wouldn't be here today, the ungrateful ba*bleep*s. Nah, I have some friends who are veggies. Anyway yeah positives to eating meat are the fact that we are naturally omnivores, eating meat is a quicker way of getting the nutrients.

not 100% on it, but the only reason to eat meat is because of Omega-3 acids. Anything protein and/or flavour related can be found in other substances. Yeah, I don't eat meat as well

One word: Bacon.

Alternatively, the number one argument is:
It's fucking delicious.

I'm trying to get people to understand how good a chocolate bar with steak in it would be. So far, no one else agrees.

It's healthy, tasty and there's no reason not to. Also, what the hell is going on with the OP's sentences? I'm not sure I even followed the guidelines...

Why not?

There needs to be an extremely valid reason to actually stop eatinq meat.
Nah there really doesn't.
1. Bioloqically able to diqest meat
2. Body needs nutrients contained naturally only in meat
3. It tastes qood
4. Less valid reason, but most cultures widely eat meat

so unless you were born not eatinq meat there needs to be a valid loqical reason to deprive the body of necessary nutrients usinq a method that has worked for tens of thousands of years
Your logic is extremely flawed. Just because we're "biologically able to digest meat", that's an "extremely valid" reason to eat it? Your body can digest a shitload of things, but that doesn't necessarily mean you should eat them. I can digest dog food, but I'm not going to start eating it...

The nutrients found in meat can be found elsewhere (not often naturally, though), and isn't really an inconvenience.

And a classic..."Everyone else does, so I should too." Seriously?

I don't disagree with you completely, however. Meat is tasty.

OP: Meat is tasty. Even as a vegetarian, I will concede that point. I wish people would stop claiming that it's some sort of evolutionary marvel or that you need it to be healthy or that vegetarians are pussies. That's not why people eat meat and they know it. They eat it because they like it, and they like it because it tastes good. That's all.

1) It's a pretty convenient way to get protein and some other vitamins your body can't make on its own/are rare to find in edible plants.

2) Good steak. 'Nuff said.

3) Participation in whatever culture the recipe is from, no matter how trivial said participation. Broaden your horizons, etc.

Dude, prior to being a vegetarian, I had some chocolate bacon. It was awesome.

It's been a while since I took a Biology course, but IIRC, there are certain types of proteins that you can only get from Meat (or artificial supplements).

Vegetarians aren't crippling the industry at all, I promise you. The cows and other animals will still die and get butchered, why let the meat go to waste and rot? Eat it, it's what nature intended of us.
Plus, when cooked properly it tastes amazing.
If you don't believe me, stop by Miami and I will grill you the single best rack of ribs you'll ever have.
I challenge to make a better rack of ribs than my dad!
If we still had our smoker (thing melted), every one of my birthdays, and my brothers, would be delicious rib day!
Smokey, sweet, goodness.

I've never eaten meat and i'm healthier then most people. I suspect it might not be as vital as you think.

It's delicous. The better question is "Why NOT eat meat?" (Don't tell me it's murder. Animals do it ALL THE TIME. Even your precious whales organize what are essentially executions of seals. Seriously, look it up. Whales are some cold motherfuckers.)

So you have something that contains both Omega-3 acids and proteins, which our bodies are designed to eat, but you shun it because you can obtain those things through a significantly less straightforward alternate route?

To each their own I guess.
