Eating Pizza: How do You do it?

I start at the pointy end and work my way up to the crust in small, manageable bites. Then I eat the crust whole.

Sprinkle on red pepper flakes and parmesean cheese, and then fold the thing in half like a taco. Proceed to consume from the sides until the pointy end and crusted end are almost even. Then eat the thing up from the fold. Bonus points if done when dipped in sauce, and one manages to keep from getting anything on themselves in the process. For an extra challenge, attempt it with Deep Dish.

That's how I did it for a while, anyway. Not so much any more. I still eat with my hands, though.

Normally with my hands, but sometimes I do a weird order. Pick off the topping s and cheese and eat that in one big lump. Then the sauce. Then the fluffy part of the bread. Then the rest of the bread. Then the crust.

As for other eating I hate it when someone eat something recklessly spreading crumbs everwhere. Yes a few of the microscopic bastards get loose, but preferably not a truckload of them on my desk during class.

Also, what bothers you about the way others eat?
For me, it's the way my dad eats soup or cereal; he slurps from the spoon which I find disgusting. I also find when people chew really loudly (only applicable to guys)--I can't stand it; or when people talk with their mouths full (only guys..).

so it doesn't bother you if women chew noisily or talk with their mouth full or you just think only men ever do it?

also i tend to fold slices of pizza in half or roll them around the crust.

No, I know women do it. I just find them doing it kind of cute. Men doing that is just disgusting for me.

I use my hands. That and if the pizza is really greasy I usually wipe the grease off on my plate and dip it in ranch. I don't know why but it does taste good. Also I can't stand people eating with their mouths open. It just bugs the crap out of me.

Seriously though, I eat it with my hands. The only times I've ever had to use a fork and knife were for deep dish, and only after repeatedly attempting to use my hands.

Yeah, I am with your girlfriend, TC. I find using a fork and knife for pizza strange, excluding the European variation of course. That being said, I am somewhat neurotic about keeping my hands clean, thus I may hold the pizza very delicately and will refuse to touch any pizza that is overly grease.

What most people find absolutely mind boggling, is while I normally detest cheese, pizza is the sole exception where I like it.

I've always eaten pizza with my hands. I absolutely despise it when people chew/chomp incredibly loudly or with their mouth open... when i'm in a room with people who do that i simply leave because i can't be arsed with telling them to hush =P
