Well, I'm in med school. So I really shouldn't be uncomfortable with blood, should I?

That's actually really cute, sky. It make me want to hurt myself in front of you to watch to go all squeamish so I can be like 'D'awwwww, she'ssocute~"

On a related note, I don't mind blood one bit.

Yeah, just eat and drink before and after and you should be okay.

As for blood, it doesn't bother me, nor do needles. Every time I've been stuck, shots or blood removal, I'll watch the needle go into my arm and watch the blood pour into the tubing or whatever. I've even had to calm a guy down who was giving me an IV because he wouldn't quit shaking.

Simple blood, not really. In a pretty gory situation, then yeah, maybe.

And I remember one time when I was sick, I had to have quite a few blood tests to find out what was wrong with me, and I found the best way for me during injections was to listen to my favourite music at quite a loud volume, as well as shaking my feet a bit. This should help since it's probably similar to what you're having, especially since it was around 2 test tubes of blood they took from me per session...

Well, that depends. When I see it coming out, yes, I get a moment of queasiness (doesn't matter if it's mine or not), but then I'm fine. If I don't see it removed from the body though, no problem at all. I could look at a lake of the stuff and, aside from being VERY concerned about where it came from, I wouldn't have an issue with it.

I've almost conquered my fear of needles. Considering I can now take one with only the slightest raise in heartbeat when as a child I had to be more or less physically dragged to them. I wonder if that's part of the reason I get queasy at seeing blood coming out a body...

I was terrified of giving blood too. They inserted the bleeding device and were prepping the syringe as I prepared myself for pain and looked away. Then, when I looked back, the lady was already done. I lol'd.

I'm exactly the same. I'd love to give blood one day, but I'm utterly terrified of needles. Can't cope with them at all.

Blood, desease, rotting skin and bodies, guts and gore are all fine. A rotten tomato or cheese gone bad and I just can't hold it in! Any kind of gross looking food I can't take...

I used to enjoy watching myself give blood, you know that good feeling thinking that you help someone out.

Unfortunately I'm not allowed to give blood anymore, no virus or anything, just a curious thing with regards to my body.

No i'm not squeamish, I was giving a hobsons choice with regards to a new type of operation and I accepted straight away, not alot scares me.

Clowns freak me out though.

I'm not afraid of blood, in either real life or fiction. I am however scared shitless, of any needles or sharp objects that will draw blood.

I dont mind blood at all really. some of my favorite movies are the over-the-top horror movies with lots of blood and gore- and then I've volunteered at hospitals to help draw (and eventually give) blood with doctors and nurses- and dissections were commonplace for a someone who goes for their bachelors in science for biology
