"... Fuck, no more ogres right? I'm almost out of arrows."
"You don't carry enough arrows, sera. I still have over a dozen, if you'd like to share."
"My arrows are enchanted, feel free to take them. I'll visit the fletcher later, besides I've been meaning to practice with my sword."

"Tight corridors, too." Vargmir approached the group, now dragging his huge battleaxe behind him.
IFS said:
"Could you just collapse the entrance and let him starve? This one has had enough fighting for one day."
"Hm. Good idea." Vargmir looked to Anruin. "Plan?"

"I do not use enchanted equiptment, so pardon me if I refrain." Lloden approached the corpse of the ogre and cut all the arrows out, keeping his and offering Anruin his back. Lloden had lost two, bringing him down to eighteen.

"So I'm the leader now? Great... Araaj, think you could scout inside the cave? We can decide what to do better if we know what's going on in there."

"Very well, this one will return shortly, someone else should search for alternate entrances on the surface."

"Just the job for me." Lloden unstrung his bow and started searching for tracks from an alternative exit, in case it was hidden.

Dro'Araaj moved quickly and silently through the ruin, it looked Ayleid in design, although the years and goblin infestations had taken their toll. Most of the traps were broken, or else made apparent by the bloody remains of a bandit/zombie, it seemed the elf had holed himself up in a large central chamber, protected by a dozen or so zombies, the lost bandits having been replaced by slaughtered goblins.

pausing only to swipe a varla stone from a column he made his way back out of the ruin to report his findings to the others.

"There's a shaft over here I am thinking goes into the underworks of the ruins. We could come up under the s'wit." The shaft was small, as such things go, probably an access for workers back in the day, but large enough for even Vargmir.

"We'll have to cover that. Ah, Araaj you're back, what'd you find?"

"I would be more than happy to stay up here and make sure no one gets out of it? My bow isn't too terribly useful in such ruins."

"That'd be fine. My plan was to have Vargmir here go in and wreck the place."

"He lost a few bandits to traps, which makes them easier to avoid, replaced them with goblins though, he holed up in a big chamber, looked like a broken version of one of those overly complex gas traps the Alyeids were so fond of, probably has an air shaft to the surface leading out of it, couldn't explore past there."

"I'll get the goblins, elf is yours. Whenever you're ready." Vargmir dropped his axe and stood by the ruin door.

"Fine, lets go. Araaj, do you wish to come with, or would you prefer to go update the rest of the group as to what's happening?"

"This one can repel the undead, make the mage easier to get at."

Lloden went and leaned on a tree where he had a clear view of both entrances.
"You kids have fun. Don't die too awfully."

Lloden feigned an offended frown. "You imply there are better people than me?" he said, pouting, before breaking out in a grin. "But really, don't die so far from your homes. I would never forgive you."

"No need." Vargmir flexed, rolling his neck. "Goblins are easy. Alive or undead."

"I'll be fine. Here we go."

He kicked in the door, charging straight into the ruin.

At the main chamber, Vargmir stopped and roared, tossing a nearby rock at the Goblins. The little beasts screeched and charged, leaping at Vargmir.

All dozen of them latched onto him, sticking blades into his arms, chest, shoulder, legs. He was covered in Goblins, trying to shake them off, and stumbled off of a nearby staircase.

Vargmir and the Goblins rolled down the stairs into the darkness. There was a large thud, shaking the ruin, causing the roof to collapse over the staircase down, blocking Vargmir and the goblins away from the others.

Now the high elf stood with but a few human zombies...
