Endya and Iloden continued down the passage, over time it seemed to grow wider, the two could now walk side by side now. Further down the passage they came across a small clearing and some skeletons. It seemed to be a burial tomb, Endya saw a scroll lying on the ground and pointed towards it. As Iloden went to pick it up his arm was grabbed by a skeletal arm. within seconds the other skeletons began to move and turn. Endya yanked Iloden's bow from his back and smacked it into one of the skeletons, its skull was sent flying and the rest of the body fell apart. She began to hurl daggers at them as a dozen more came out from their coffins ''Get up!'' she barked at him, throwing a dagger at the arm, smashing it and freeing Iloden from its grasp.

''Dwemer aren't this far south either, Ayleid maybe? The note mentions a structure, I'm betting it's some sort of ruin that's been preserved down here'' As they continued walking, their path led into a sort of burial chamber, which Joncis and the others were entering ''You find anything?'' Joncis asked, with Dro'Araaj, Vargmir, Urgal and Astoph filing in next to him.

Lloden sighed.
Why did I even think about getting surprised? That's up there with "what could possibly go wrong. He wrenched his arm free and drew his silver sword. He swung, the skeleton clattering apart as he struck it.
Then he realized.
Shit. He turned and looked. The skeletons were distractions. Something was here. He knew it was. He just had to see it.
Behind you, fool! The shout echoed in his head, and he turned quickly, his blade up to block.
It met a pickaxe being brandished by another skeleton, larger and more agile than the others.
Lloden stepped back, and flicked his sword. The skeleton's pickaxe went flying, and he brought the sword down, hard, on it's skull.

Endya finished off the remaining skeletons and gave Iloden back his now dented bow. ''C'mon, let's find out what exactly this place is'' she said, continuing down the passage way ''Before you ask no I don't know what ancient civilisation this is, but through process of elimination its either ancient Bosmer, Ayleid or Khajiit. let's just try to get through here without any more jump scares.''

"Not really," Dro'Araaj replied, "More skeletons, someones dying message written on the wall in their own blood, you know typical cave stuff, oh and before you ask this one could not make out what they were writing, likely a warning given that such messages tend to be that."

He smelled the air, the place smelled old, and certainly this passage reeked of death for obvious reasons, but there was something else, something he couldn't quite place.

"This tunnel could also lead to one of the sloads underground cities, they do show up to buy corpses in Senchal from time to time."

The bulk of the group came towards another fork in the tunnels, one leading up, and another sloping down, ''I'll take the top side, Dro'Araaj and Anruin are with me'' Joncis said, moving up through the tunnel. Enthir soon leading the others in the group down the deeper but wider passage.

After a few minutes Iloden and Endya had seemed to reach a large clearing, they looked down to their bottom left to see a main entrance and across from them several metres above it another entrance, which between the two was a large stone walkway supported by pillars. Across from them was a massive stone monument, with the lunar signs surrounding a circular hole carved out of the centre of it and built behind were the ruins of a building. Above it light could be seen coming in from the ceiling of the cave. ''This is ancient Khajiit, definitely, see the lunar calender?'' she pointed towards the large pillar.

From the other side of the walkway Joncis, Dro'Araaj and Anruin came through and saw Iloden and Endya, ''...amazing'' Joncis said quietly, waving over to the others.
Enthir and the others emerged from the bottom level shortly afterwards, he looked up at them and shouted up ''Now what?'' ''Check out the fort, we'll stay up here and try to find a ramp down'' Endya responded loudly.

A bolt of lightning ripped through the air and hit a body behind one of the stone pillars. ''I think we should stay up here'' Joncis shouted back, throwing another bolt, turning a skeleton to ash. Inside the ancient tomb they could see a bright glow coming from the windows, ''Necromancer?!'' Endya asked, throwing a dagger at an undead behind Enthir.
He pulled out his sword and ran for the centre, while the others covered him, a bolt of lightning narrowly avoided his head, he turned to see Joncis, ''Wasn't me! I wa-'' he shouted down, before he could finish, several bolts fired from the tomb were heading for him, he jumped out of the way of one, then held up a ward for the others, protecting Anruin and Dro'Araaj in the process. ''There's more than one!'' Enthir shouted, taking cover behind one of the large stone pillars, knocking a skeleton that got in his way to pieces with his sword.

Anruin looked for the origins of these attacks.

"I count 6 of them, twice as many skeletons!" After he finishes the sentence, he begins sprinting between the pillars, Lloden covering him as he went. He snuck up on the first one, and with a flash of silver, his head was rolling about the floor. Several skeletons collapsed, clearing a way for the group.

Lloden stood, looking at the strange room. It tugged at something in his mind. He knew it was important, but it wouldn't let him grab it. He sighed, and examined his bow. It had already been falling apart, and Endya's flailing had cracked it. He placed solemly on a crumbling plinth that some grave robber had cleared off long ago.

Then the others appeared, making ridiculous amounts of noise. Endya, foolishly, shouted back, and the skeletons awakened.
He sighed and picked the bow back up and tested the draw. Good for a couple more shots, but not much beyond that. He placed an arrow into one necromancer's throat before they knew he was there. The rest immediately raised shields and charmed themselves. Lloden saw Anruin sneaking across the floor, and put another arrow into the only necromancer who wasn't covered. The bow gave out, and the arrow struck him in the chest, toppling him over.
Lloden tossed the bow aside and vaulted down to the floor, relying on his vague memories of climbing things all his childhood. He landed with a grunt and a roll, but nothing was broken. He drew his sword.

Anruin ran to Lloden, dodging another lightning bolt. Joncis and Endya were keeping the last one occupied, as Enthir organised the rest of the group to fight the Skeletons which were resurrected en masse when they realized they were an actual threat.

"Friend, you need to learn how to climb." he said, faint smile on his face.
"I'd suggest you kill that guy Endya's been fighting. I'll take care of this guy." He sprinted at him, and was surprised when he conjured a blade.
'Crap.' he ducked the wild swing the necromancer gave, but he dodged Anruins stab.
'Good reflexes, no training' Anruin smiled, though he knew this might take awhile.

Lloden strode across the floor. He felt strange.
Granted, I've felt strange for a good week now. What's changed? He worried at the thoughts while doggedly pursuing the remaining mage, who was running from him and flinging fireballs at Lloden.
"Gonna have to do better than that!" he shouted, sidestepping one last fireball before the man was cornered. Lloden ran the man through. He stepped back, letting him slump to the ground.
He turned and saw Anruin still fighting the last necromancer. The rest of the group was cleaning up the few remaining skeletons, easily cutting through the weak conjurations.
Something didn't sit right with him about this fight. It was too easy.

His fight had stretched well over 3 minutes, and Anruin was starting to sense some frustration on the mages' end. Anruin made another swing, and when he blocked it he punched him in the nose, sending him staggering. A quick stab in the heart, and the conjurations were broken.

"So, think there's a chest around here. Seems standard fair for a dungeon like this." Anruin smiled faintly, but he felt uneasy.

Lloden looked around, and nodded at the still-glowing tomb proper. He sighed.
"I think we've got some more people to slaughter first. How come they never just give up?" he sighed, and laughed.

Inside the tomb the glowing stopped, Enthir, Urgal and Vargmir finished off the remaining skeletons. Endya and Joncis headed down the ramp towards the others, but were cut off by a massive bolt of lightning, it ricocheted across the walls until it hit Astoph, his armor soaking it up with seemingly no issue. From 2 of the side doors half a dozen necromancers and about 20 bandit thralls were running at them. From the main tomb 2 storm atronachs were coming at them, with the Master Conjurer taking shots at the group from behind a fallen watchtower.

Joncis conjured his flame atronach, while Enthir conjured his frost atronach, Endya meanwhile, dipped her daggers in a poison Dro'Araaj gave her. ''Chezik, Der-kran!'' Joncis shouted, the flame atronach immediately fighting off the enemy atronachs, ''You 3, the heavy hitters!, take out the bandits, Endya, aim for the necromancers, Joncis, make sure we aren't shot!'' Enthir shouted, Joncis nodded and helped him hold a massive ward up, shielding most of the group from incoming lightning. Anruin and Iloden were no where to be found.

Lloden sighed.
"Always more fools to kill."
He saw it was a very big battle.
His hand brushed the dark blade at his side.
He blacked out, his quickly fading consciousness managing to think, Well, at least it's bandits and necromancers this time.

After handing Endya the poison Dro'Araaj turned to face the bandit thralls, twenty of them against Urgal, Vargmir, and himself, this would be interesting. The thralls divided to fight the three of them, with six of them moving to attack Araaj, he wasted no time in using his staff, blasting at them with fireballs, bringing down three of them before they closed the distance.

He blocked a bandit's sword with the staff then threw it aside, striking at the thralls with his claws, aiming for eyes and throats, as well as anywhere else that would be particularly painful.

Endya managed to stab through two of the thralls with her last dagger before being knocked to the ground by a third, she managed to get to her feet before Vargmir's heavy axe sliced through the thrall. Urgal hurled a mace at a necromancer who got inside the Ward bubble, it became lodged in one's head as he pulled out another mace and helped Enthir, who was fending off 4 thralls with Astoph.

Joncis couldn't hold it any longer, he dropped the ward and ran for the nearest boulder, dodging a flurry of lightning directed at him. His Atronach had just exploded, taking Enthir's with it, who had just finished impaling a necromancer on one of its sharp ice limbs.

''Get to cover'' he shouted, throwing fire at the necromancers to try and stem the flow of lightning. Enthir made it to the boulder next to Joncis, while Endya ran for the upper levels, snatching some arrows off the thrall's ash piles on the way

Dro'Araaj tossed a potion of restore magicka to Joncis as he joined him behind cover, concentrating he released a pulse of healing magic, mending some of the minor injuries they had accrued.

"Anyone need more healing, and do we have a plan?" he asked, digging around in his potions bag for something.

''Endya, we're heading to the main tomb, the lead necromancer must be doing something in there and we can't fight off all of these things'' Joncis shouted up. throwing ice spears and impaling the last of the thralls on the pillars ''Fine'' Endya said, throwing arrows at the necromancers, one being lodged in one's head as the main tomb continued to glow.
