Eh, to my admittedly uninformed eye, it looked mostly the same, bar the lack of loading between most districts in the Imperial City. Bethesda has a lock on the graphics, they should focus more on the animations.

Nah. What they should focus on is getting more than two people to voice for each race.

I agree with both of you. They need to put more effort in both those areas first; then they can worry about graphics.

I'd be surprised if the next eldar scrolls didn't have better graphics than crysis, they tend to be pushing the bar with every release (at the time). I recall morrowind being obscenely difficult to run for modern computers on even moderate settings.

If TES5 has this high quality graphics (which it probably will, come on, look at the jump between morrowind and oblivion. Exactly.) then that'll be my excuse to upgrade the hell out of my pc. Having said that, I'd rather they worked on ironing out all the problems oblivion had.

Not the person you quoted, but it should have been possible to fast travel from anywhere, but not to other buildings. There's simply no reason why someone should go through at least two (long)loading screens to get to a location. Hell, exploring/farming a cave generally meant a 15-30 second loading screen to get out of a building, then a 15-45 second loading screen to go to the cave and then another 15-30 second loading screen to enter the cave.

On-Topic: The water looked a bit prettier, but I couldn't see a large difference in the trees or buildings, I even got roughly the same effect after I installed a texture pack for Oblivion.
Also, why would Bethesda need a terrain engine when every Elder Scrolls game they've released has been getting smaller?

meh. Bananasplit Better Cities + Unique Landscapes + HDR Weather and Texture mods + whatever takes your fancy totally blows this outta the water. Not so good on your framerate, though. Def not for older systems.
