Sort of Search Bar approved. I searched but couldn't find anything about Emotionally moving scenes, only best scene, et cetera.

What are some of the most Emotionally Moving Scenes in films that you have seen?

The Opening Sequence in Watchmen [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p2hNhM3dHB4] was the most emotionally moving scene I have ever been blessed to watch.

EDIT: Also, please remember to use Spoiler tags when appropriate. Thank you!

The final scene in Saving Private Ryan.

If I could compare it to anything recent, it would be similar to watching te end of COD 4 when you see {section removed to avoid spoilers} get his brains blown out point blank.

The bit in Titanic when the mother knows she and her kids aren't gonna make it off the sinking ship, so she stays in the cabin with them and reads them a final good night story.

The end of Schindlers list always sets me absolutely bawling. Damn you, Neeson!
Also, Up can do it to me. All the bits involving Carl reminising seem to bring a tear to my eye.

The climax in V for Vendetta. You know the one, where V's body is carried off with the explosive train which detonates under Parliament, causing it to explode, Natalie Portman gives a big, and one of the best, emotional and philosophical speeches ever and all of the V's are crowded outside Parliament. Its basically just amazingly perfect in every concievable way Ugh, just here:

First bit of Saving Private Ryan

and, if I'm honest, RIGHT before the end of Monsters Inc, where Sully will never see Boo again. I actually cried (I was a bit younger, but it was still upsetting today)

THE MOST EMOTIONAL THING I HAVE EVER SEEN ON SCREEN though, would have to be the opening montage from Pixar's "Up".

Seriously, see it. I'm 16 and cynical, and it nearly made me bawl

Although to be honest the whole film's a big bunch of emotional face punches.

Crash - The whole movie was sad. No matter what critics say, it's a freaking good movie.

The Girl Who Leapt Through Time - Pretty much the entire movie gets sad after things start 'going wrong,' but even though it's sad it's even more thought provoking.

The Royal Tenenbaums

Richie shaves off all his hair in the bathroom and then cuts his wrists as that montage of his family flashes in front of him. Guh. That still gets me.

The death of William Wallace in Braveheart. Okay, also the death and avenging of his lover towards the beginning.

The OD scene in Pulp Fiction, with a hopped up Eric Stoltz, a freaking out John Travolta and one bitchface Rosanna Arquette, was the scariest shit I ever saw in the theater.

The 6 or 7 scenes leading up to the "biblical prophecy" part of Magnolia, wherein every one of the characters is emotionally torn to shreds. Tom Cruise's breakdown, in particular, is really moving.

The scene in Crash (the Paul Haggis drama, not that Cronenberg softcore trash) where Matt Damon's asshole racist cop frees Thandie Newton from her overturned SUV while it's leaking gas and about to go up in flames.

The end credits to absolutely any Michael Bay movie ever, because it's finally-oh, ninja'd

Blockbuster used to censor their movies, and this was one such censoring. Terrible, huh?

Pretty much all of Green Mile, was going to put some thing down more specific but I don't know how to do a spoiler box and I don't want to spoil the movie for anyone.

The end of lock stock were Vinnie Jones walks in and says "It's been emotional" :D.
