"Hey! Thanks for saving all of our whiny asses so we could have our retarded little festival. We know you went through a lot. Solving puzzles, getting your butt kicked repeatedly. Solving a lot of people's problems and all. But... um.... you're not invited. In fact, if you were to stick around, it would really kinda ruin the whole thing, so.... gtfo.
i agree with the fact that the knowing was an alright film to start with, but yeah, the ending was really crappy...SilverUchiha said:Knowing (that movie with Nicholas Cage) had a very crappy ending. I won't spoil it for all of your though.
The Village (by M. Night Shaymalamading-dong) was also very stupid in its ending.
I don't think that ending was a cliffhanger. It was just open. It's a fine distinction, sure, but considering they aren't planning to carry on that story arc anymore I don't think you can class it as a cliffhanger.tirone231 said:the legendary ending for Halo 3. Ok, so it sets up a continuation of the story, fantastic...except that Bungie has done nothing with the concept and decided to focus exclusively on prequels. It's one thing to have a cliffhanger ending to then never be able to make a sequel, it's another to make the aforementioned cliffhanger and then simply ignore it.
Also, I agree with this. Big time.SoranMBane said:Fallout 3 without the Broken Steel DLC. That was about the most contrived, retarded way to end a game I've ever encountered.
Maybe it's just me in that, fundamentally, I don't buy into that whole "sacrifice is heroic" school of bullshit, but the my choices at that point should have included more than the martyr and coward options, and they shouldn't have had to release a DLC to fix it; it should have been common sense that that's simply not how you end a game.
do you know who tht guy in the mask was(or is)? cos all i remember is all 'it' did was stand around waiting for you to kill him and what happened to that red haired chick who followed you near the end?Omikron009 said:The dark side ending in KOTOR 2. It was just fucking terrible.
Hell, even with the DLC the Good ending was a bit crap and the bad ending although kinda cool didn't really give any closure ( at least thts what i feel anyway)SoranMBane said:Fallout 3 without the Broken Steel DLC. yep, it gets you all exited and hyped up throughout the whole story (if it can even be called a story) then it gives you one of the worst endings that I have ever seen in a video game so far. The game is good overall thoughShaegor said:Border-fucking-lands.
I was quite excited to play out an epic adventure with my mates... And it was fun. Until it got to the end and the game spit in my face and refused to give practically no closure what so ever.
