Here's one I remeber: Mirelurks from Fallout 3.

Tough armor, small weak spot, strong melee attacks, and they drop practically no loot beside Mirelurk Meat.

Those things are really annoying when they gang up on you, too.

There's also Shin, one of the 4th Stratum bosses in Etrian Odyssey 3, that is a pain. Wouldn't be near as bad if it weren't for Devil Kiss, a move that drains your HP (often killing 1+ party members) and replenishes about twice the amount she absorbed from you. Horrible, horrible boss.

I'm going way back on this one, those damn blob monster that multiply themselfs (can't describe them better) in Secret of Mana on the SNES.

Reason why I refer to this old game, because I recently played it again on a emulator. I really liked that game :)

Rats, spiders, and bats... because they're fucking tedious, hard-to-hit bastards that always take off too damn much health for their tiny size.

.<), and those two things ALWAYS give me trouble. Not to mention their upgrades, Gracious and Glorious. Good FUCK do I hate those things. They gave me more trouble than most of the damn boss fights!
I completely forgot about those bastards. Hell yes they were annoying, I can't remember how many times I died trying to kill them, but I do remember rage quitting because of them. They had a ton of cheap shots, I know they were a boss battle, but those were uncalled for.
I thought I knew what frustration was when I was fighting the first pair. The midair combo they have is just fucking brutal, and I have a hard time knowing when I need to get the fuck out of the way XD
But then I came across the armored version, and it was like the game was trying to rape me. I usually wind up using most of my health and shield items fighting those bastards >.<
The armored ones were just ridiculous, I spent more time dodging than actual fighting. At that point in the game I figured I was the game's ***** and I had to take it, and I wanted to show that game who's boss.

So when I decided to play the game again on hard, imagine my surprise when those guys arrived very early in the game, and I was promptly murdered. I said fuck this and haven't touched that game since, I don't need a high blood pressure, nor do I have the money to keep replacing controllers.

Creepers in Minecraft.
Followed by Spiders in Minecraft.
Followed by Ghasts in Minecraft.
Followed by Skeletons in Minecraft.
Followed by Crawmerax the Invincible in Borderlands. I can take the guy on my own, but shit he takes a while to turn around.
Followed by Rajang in Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. Ive been trying to beat him for two years.
Followed by Paetorians in Mass Effect 2. When theyre described as fying tanks theyre not kidding.

And normally I don't find this next type of enemy tough on lower difficulty, but on insanity mode I wanna rip out my hair everytime I hear "ASSUMING CONTROL OF THIS FORM!!"
Assuming thats Mass Effect 2 right there, best way around is to wipe the mook Collectors then take out Harbinger. That way he has nothing to go 'ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL' at.

Really there are two kinds of enemies I hate: Ones with low HP but absurd defense and by extension things that outright null physical damage.examples: Clefts from Paper Mario and Arahbaki(Nocturne form)

Also enemies that fire off a fuck you attack upon death such as The armadillo from Ninja Gaiden 2 and the Magic Master in FF6

How can you guys say Cazadores? Recent Fallout games are easy, actually too easy, and something as silly as a Cazadore shouldn't cause trouble after an hour of playing.

Medusa Heads in the Clock Tower of Castlevania: SotN. It was easy to kill them but when they came from everywhere, had infinite respawn and froze you it just made it a fustrating experience.

Malboros from the FF series. They're like the physical embodiment of my general laziness in curing status ailments.

What, this far and no Seth? (Street Fighter 4)
Meh, compared to pretty much any SNK boss (or even Gill in SF3), Seth's really not that bad.

This is true. Seth is just annoying, spamming everyone else moves. Gill in third strike was much more a pain with his ressurection. And don't get me started on Capcom vs SNK 2 EO (Damn you, Shin Akuma)

I know this is silly, but Balverines in Fable 3.

For some reason I just can't fight the damn things... God I hate them Dx
In my first playthrough I think I got 5 scars, about 4 of which are balverive related.
