Bloody hell, I do remember you! Hello again, it's certainly been a while since I last visited these wonderful forums. Not much seems to have changed though, which actually kinda surprised me. I thought everything would be all shiny and different.

Little question, don't suppose if you know whether NewClassic still inhabits the Escapist? He was brilliant.

Haven't seen him since I've been back, but I do recall seeing a few of his posts before I left the site.
He might be lingering still, but who knows?

I don't remember getting attacked by 4chan. When was it?

Few months back? Just a bunch of folks joining up and posting crap. Someone took a screenshot of some 4chan thread saying they'd attack the Escapist and put it up in a thread, around the time it was happening. Folks put two and two together.

Well, if that's not the wimpiest attack ever! If I were 4chan, I'd launch a DDoS attack on Warcry to send a message that we're next, then spam the flaming. After the site goes to crap, I'd then DDoS the Escapist and let the mods fight it out over who let me in, then retreat completely and leave the site staggering and covered with shock images.

...I really need to get out more.

I agree. Most people do it although a full scale Template is required, and that sometimes effects the way they play; going into a different direction with their character etc etc. So having that as standard gives the game much more room to roam around.

Yeah, I'd guess so. It's meant to be a sort of cliche story of how a band of troops come together in a lot of respects. A new arrival might dick with that a little.

Actually, reading over the first few pages didn't help that much in regards to making a decision. Considering that this is a revamp of the original, I can imagine that similar things will be happening in this version.
