"Come on people, speed it up! Triple time!" Mick heard Emerson order.
With this, he decided to get more practice with the Glock.
He placed the MP5 down, leaving him only carrying the Glock and his ASP. Obviously he wouldn't be showing off his hidden pistol, so he practiced quick-drawing the Glock.
He had mastered it with his trusty ASP, but the Glock was, while still not huge, a good sight bigger and less rounded than the ASP.

Not shooting, Mick repeatedly whipped the Glock 17 out of his pocket, into both hands and his eyes lined up with the sights. After doing this at least 15 times, getting slightly faster each time, he flipped the Safety off and drew, before double tapping two rounds. They hit the target's nose and forehead.

He did this until the mag was empty, and all his shots were relatively near the same place. One went off target, and only skimmed the head.
However, Mick considered this a highly successful practice: Even if the bullet didn't land in a place that would instantly kill an enemy, tearing their ear off would definately put them out of action for a while, what with the deafness and intense pain.

Nadia wished she had some ammo left, so she could demonstrate properly, and more importantly, not seem like she was goofing off to Emerson. She watched as the girl squeezed off three rounds. Not half bad.

She pointed to a switch on the side of Katrina's pistol. "See that?" she asked. "The gun's got selective fire. If you want to fire three rounds like that, just turn the switch so that it's facing upwards. Then, just pull the trigger once, and it does a burst for you."

In the back of her mind, she got a bit worried that she was sounding condescending.

I thought I would enjoy this game a bit but inactivity and the fact I'm involved in a certain RP that I like a bit more has convinced me to move on. Feel free to write out Thomas or gift him to someone who wants in.

[sub]I think sticking with only one RP is a good idea... Well, at least for me anyway.[/sub]

Bye! Enjoy killing those Yanks for me :)

Johann looked around at his comrades, all of them had finished their shooting practise and were now standing around unsure of what to do next. He gave the officer named Emerson, who apparently hadn't heard his question, a gentle bump on the shoulder.

"Sir, is there anything I could do to help?" he repeated loudly so everyone could hear.

Edit: For those posting OOC messages on their own in the RP thread, there is a group that's designed for OOC chatter which can be found here [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/groups/chat/England-Falters].

Astrid sat against an old wooden crate cradling her weapon and inspecting every inch of it, she had never received such a weapon before, it was facinating. Having taken a couple shots on the firing range it became apparent that she wasn't destined to be a marksman at any rate but she liked the weapon she held it was her weapon, she could not help but have a profound attachment to it, that pistol on the other hand was impossbile to use and without a hostler she had no idea where to put it, she settled at putting it in one of her oversized pockets, it gave her the chills as the the guns cold steel pressed against her through the fabric.

she looked up at the others, they seemed to be almost done with their firing practice, and stood up slowly. she expected their patrol to be quite dull and imagined that it would be better to have it done now so she could rest later.

Emerson yawned, watching the troops aimlessly practice. In hindsight there wasn't really any point of what they were doing, he could have easily predicted which people could shoot and which couldn't based on previous history.

"Alright, pack it up!", he shouted over the gunfire, "That's enough of that. Exercise is over. We'll get to doing something else pretty quick-like. Maybe we should scout the area or something."

The boredom was intoxicating. If Emerson could float in this state of pointless endeavours he would, but either way the Americans would still land their asses on his beach at the end of the day. Gunfire broke his train of thought, Emerson's mask of cheery disposition slipping in the process.

"I told you to stop fucking firing, you ignorant little pricks!"

The station went quiet, but the gunfire rang out once more. It was more distant than he'd previously thought it was, but still near. Almost as if it were right outside.

"Robin, what in the hell am I hearing?"

I was away for a bit. Taken to see family against my will. It's only been a day folks, no need to start getting ants in your pants and dropping out at the first sign of trouble. We're back on track now with an actual storyline.

"Gunfire." Robin said.

Emerson threw him a 'Thanks Cptn. Obvious' look.

"Bite me." Robin said, standing up. He cocked his head and listened. The fire repeated itself again, and he dropped off the pile. He hung his rifle from the band across his back.

"I think we should get everyone locked, 'cept for the front doors. Enemies, we'll have a choke-point. Friends, we'll still be open to 'em."

Something exploded about the same distance as the gunfire.

Astrid lost her footing in shock as she rose from the ground, losing her balance and falling again as an explosion echoed from the distance, she gave a curse as she caught herself with her left hand on the crate and dragged herself up again, she slung the strap of her Submachine gun over her shoulder, today might not be so quite after all, anxiety spread across her face, a strange mixture of panic and excitement filled her, this was what she signed up for wasn't it?.

she gave a sigh to calm herself "well at least we wont have to patrol, there kind enough to come to us instead"

Mick's eyes previously had been feigning attention; a want for sleep still lay behind them.
But at this new, sudden exterior gunfire, that feeling went away: He was fully alert now.
Wordlessly, he quickly emtpied the Glock's magazine, though he had fired all the shots he wanted to make sure.
Empty.

Dropping it on the firing range table, he pulled his MP5's magazine out.
About 6 rounds left.
Well, I'll last in a firefight... he thought sarcastically.
However, he knew he had at least 28 ASP bullets. 7 Loaded in the pistol already, and three more mags concealed on his person.
If only he had his Spectre back..

"Sir, requesting permission to have my Spectre M4 back. These firing range guns are empty, sir." He asked of Emerson.

Nadia heard gunfire and immediately wished she had saved ammunition. She turned to Mick, who was requesting his gun back. She figured even a crossbow would do in the situation. Near-silent, and it did more flesh damage than any normal bullet.

"And I request permission for my crossbow, sir," she said. "And perhaps any plastic explosive you have on hand. For the bolts."

Gar snapped to attention as the gunfire echoed and explosions boomed outside their gates.
He grabbed a Glock from one of the tables that hadn't yet been used and climbed a few barrels to try and get a view at the assailants.

Dammnit, why are theses... things. Uugh!
His mind was racing with swear words and curses as he stumbled up some barrels and began heaving himself up to see outside the fence.
But it was too damn high.

"Sir, I can't get a clear view. Permission to fire blindly? Sir"

"Relax. It sounds like one gun. Too erratic to be warning shots, just sounds like someone is dicking about with a pistol. Nobody is getting any guns, because there won't be any shooting until we have any targets. Is that perfectly clear?", Emerson said, his voice somewhat stern, before waiting for a response, "Good."

Another gunshot interrupted the silence, with Emerson flinching in the process. He stopped for a few seconds to catch his breath and regain his compsure, before turning to Robin.

"Do me a favour, Rob. I need you to lead this one. Just this one time, could you do that for me? You need, uh-- experience! That's it. Probably just some folks dicking around, should be easy. Easy as pie."

"Yessir!"
Gar called out and he flicked the safety on and tucked the gun in his pocket.

Jumping down to the ground, he grunted and returned to the crowd of his comrades.
Hope no-one is hurt...

"...Sure." Robin said, searching his pockets for something. Another series of shots rand through the air. It seemed kind of like a clock to Robin, the way it sounded every couple of seconds.

Counting off to what, I wonder.

"Eh right." He said again. "I don't fly with Emerson's approach here. Everyone's falling back to the station. You-" He pointed towards Gar. "Get fitting ammo for all the automatic weapons here, and everyone equipped with four clips."

Another hail.

"No one's getting personal weapons. Priviliges. Earn it."

He dropped his hands out of his pockets, wringing the edges of his coat.

"Also. I'll need a small squad of four. Welcoming comitee, you see. You can volunteer or I'll volunteer you." He finished, looking the squad in the eye.

Johann glanced around, then stepped forwards with what he hoped was a determined expression on his face. Inside he actually felt somewhat unsure about whether he was being brave, or simply stupid, to volunteer himself into what could end up as a potentially dangerous situation.

"I'll come, if you'll take me sir."

Might as well see some action again, that's what I signed up for.

"Good man, you. Good man." Robin said to the volunteer.

He made a mental note to find out this guy's name as soon as possible.

He raised his eyebrows as another stepped forward.

"I'll have you." he said.

Nadia stepped forwards as well, straightening her beret.

"I'm ready, willing, and able," she said.

Mick was heavily thinking of volunteering anyway, but at Johann's doing so he instantly followed suit.
"I also volunteer, sir." He said, stepping forward.

He acknowledged the denial of his request for his own gun back fairly. He could make do with the MP5 easily if they were given extra ammo.
