I use my actual birthdate, unless it's a video about a game I'm interested that for some reason says I can't watch even though it's a 15, you need to be 18 to watch.
Ugh, I got temporarily screwed out of a free game that way once. At some point, when I was 17 and therefore old enough to play M-rated games even according to the ESRB, I decided to download
F.E.A.R. Combat, which is the free, multiplayer only version of
F.E.A.R.. I put my actual birth date into the box, knowing full well that I was old enough to walk into any store in the country and buy the thing, and promptly got locked out, because Monolith had it set to 18, like it was a porn site or something. I had to spend the next half hour or so screwing around with my browser history to get it to let me back in. The really sad part about this is that my computer at the time couldn't run it, and I wasn't able to actually play it for another 3 years after that, when it was the first game I bought for my current PC. Did I mention that the download was a full gigabyte, and I was 17 back in 2007, meaning even on broadband, downloading that took a while?
OT: Obviously, I put in a random fake age until I turned 18. Once I was 18, I put in my actual age for a year or so, before getting lazy and taking it to the right year, but the wrong day. My birthday actually is in January though, so it's not too far off.
