What General Weygand has called the Battle of France is over. I expect that the Battle of Britain is about to begin. Upon this battle depends the survival of Christian civilization. Upon it depends our own British life, and the long continuity of our institutions and our Empire. The whole fury and might of the enemy must very soon be turned on us. This is more of an pre-epic dogfight "prayer", but it's the best scene (by Col. T.C. McQueen, of course) from Space: Above and Beyond, another great sci-fi show killed by Fox before its time:

Babylon 5 had a lot of speeches too, but a lot were hit or miss. Probably because Delenn got the best one (more of a threat than a speech) in 3rd season and all the ones after that were a lame attempt to be as cool:

Honestly, none of them have been very good in games. Voice acting isn't yet respected enough to really try to get people to pull out the stops and give us a truly epic speech, and our technical ability to animate the kinds of emotions and expressions that occur in an epic battle speech isn't quite there yet.
There have been some good attempts, but nothing that I really thought was comparable to speeches from epic movies.
