Bioshock 1 and 2 had good openings but since i'm a metal gear fan i'll have to go with the slow pase opening MGS4

Mass Effect 2. I didn't care for the middle of the game as much as the first, story-wise, but that opening was pretty stellar.

I particularly like the part where you walk into the part of the ship where the hull is blown open and you can see the planet. Very eerie, and a nice way to ratchet up the tension with only the sound of your breathing and the space above you.

Bioshock 2. Starts off with you shooting yourself in the head. I got it at midnight that night and popped it in. I was mindblown

Halo 3 ODST. Really all the Halo games had pretty good openings, but ODST's drop sequence was amazing.

I know it wasn't the greatest, but in Oblivion when they close in on the Imperial City I think I peed a bit. And any Star wars opening makes me giddy.
