Really? Thanos and the infinity gauntlet? All this stuff looks so nice, but I'd really want see how they're going to have it all come together. As much as I like nerd culture, the broad spectrum of movie views may not, so I hope they can really sell their next few movies.

Huh, I wondered whether you'd do a video on this considering the lack of films to comment on. I followed most of the coverage but it was good to know that I didn't miss anything.

For those who are wary of Joss Whedon, I'd give him the benefit of the doubt. He's done some excellent work in the past (including a large proportion of Toy Story) and has written comic book teams before, Uncanny X-Men. I'm sure he can do the Avengers justice as he handles team dynamics very well.

I'm really excited for the Avengers, so much so that the news on Thor, Captain America or anything else just seems so insignificant to me. I really hope it doesn't suck but if it seems too good to be true...

What exactly was that big yellow glowing box thing at 3:04? Never was a big fan of Thor, so don't know the lore.

As for the Infinity Gauntlet, that'd be awesome, but no way in hell would they be able to pull it off in one movie...probably not even two.

I haven't been paying attention to Comic-Con so thanks for the details.

I'm also upset by people who would rather see boring black spandex than awesome, colorful armor that compliment the original outfit.

Am I the only one who's disappointed aboot Whedon? Sure he's good at what he does, but that is not doing films like the Avengers. Let him go back to space cowboys with quirky personalities, as that's what he does well. Besides; the dude hasn't been good since (However long ago Dr. Horrible came out as it's what he did before he decided to start on DollHouse.)
Couldn't they get Jon Favreau, Brian Singer, or the dude who directed Kickass instead? (He seems good at adapting Millar's work, since the Ultimates is where all the best material is)
You're not alone. I am not at all confident in Whedon's abilities to pull off The Avengers so it doesn't turn out like the character cluster fuck that was X-Men 3. I would've been so much more assured of it's success had Jon Favreau taken the helm. He's done great things with Iron Man.

/sigh. Oh well. And no Edward Norton still makes me a sad panda. Very very low condience in mr indie actor's skills at the not so smashy side of the Hulk.

Am I the only one who was not impressed with the Thor trailer? I might be biased because I never really liked Thor but the trailer did not change my opinion on him. It looked boring and silly and left me with a strong taste of "meh" in my mouth.

Seriously, I have the opposite take on Whedon. He is a fine director who knows how to get the what he wants from his actors, who is willing to listen, and can get things done on time and undercost. I like the stuff he directs.

His writing I am not impressed by. He does not know how to begin story lines, he spends too much time developing things that do not really matter, and he rushes the conclusion when he really should not have.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! NOT THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD [HEADING=1][HEADING=1]WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!![/HEADING][/HEADING] I loved that show. It wasn't afraid to make batman camp again. It didn't feel the need to make him needlessly dark for no adequate reason. I loved the dark knight but batman can still be camp. This was the first time Batman has been camp but not too camp as well as being really funny. [HEADING=1] FAN RAAAAAGE! AND OVER USE OF CAPS LOCK AND THE H1 CAPTIONS [/HEADING] Sorry, anyway Avengers movie looks awesome and Ryan Renolds is awesome for doing the oath for that kid. Aww.
