I loved the "Avengers for douchebags" line.

Glad to see someone else like Death Proof and Speed Racer.

"I'm not the target audience, but that won't stop me from passing judgment on this film or anyone who might like it?"

Oh, Bob. You so silly.

I'm speechless. Come on FF III, FF IV, FF V. At least Rocky started as a great movie before sinking. Now for the Rio de Janeiro part... Well sufice to say when I see this movie I'll have an opinion about that part. But you can not expect much from FF, eh?

Lol, so that's where the Jesus fish comes from!

This review was kind of like Yahtzee reviewing a Wii title: what's the point?
I mean the dumping on it was funny as hell, yes, but the review itself is kind of a forgone conclusion. Of course Bob is going to hate this movie. Of course I MYSELF am going to hate it (if I ever go to see it, which I wont). Why not take the time to review something that wont necessarily be so obvious to everyone? There has to be other stuff out right now...

God I LOVE the original Italian Job, especially the scene in which they use a bicycle to take out a whole city´s electricity, it may have been a state´s electricity or just the electricity of a few houses but just the fact that it was done by throwing a bicycle makes it uber awesome.

Don't shit on Cars 2. It's Pixar, ffs.

Why do you have such a low expectation for Cars 2? Cars 1 wasn't bad, it was just the least-good Pixar film, if that makes sense.
In what universe is a Cars sequel a good idea? It was easily Pixar's weakest movie, and there's nothing in what you hear of the plot that looks like a good idea. The fear is in grinding down a decent movie the way Dreamworks did with Shrek (3&4 should never have happened...).

I love your little one-frame reviews that you insert into these. What better endorsement for Torque could there possibly be than "One word: Bike-fu"?

At least I got one must-watch movie out of this!

I suddenly want to go play the Riddick games again...

That's all Vin does for me these days...Oh, and he makes me want to play D&D, too.
His best performance will always be as the Iron Giant. That's how I going to remember good ol' Vin.

This series is objectively pretty bad. But, I've seen a few of them, and honestly enjoyed them. Then again, I'm into cars, and can overlook quite a lot of bad acting, cliched story, and stereotypical characters if there's sufficient car porn. I'm sure this one won't be any different. I can definitely wait until it's out on DVD, though...

It's a real pity Vin Diesel's career didn't take of like it should have; you know, after Saving Private Ryan, The Iron Giant and Pitch Black...

I would love to see him in a Zack Snyder flick or something along those lines.

Watched this with a friend. I ended up giggling throughout the movie for the sheer ridiculousness of it. I came out of the cinema thinking that the movie was an excellent comedy!

Yeah, Empire had an article about this and my Dad and I had a discussion about who was coming back and where this put Tokyo Drift in terms of continuity. Than I realised that Fast and the Furious had continuity. The movie about people we though was cool back in 2001 has a character roster and time lines and that stuff.

Might watch it, or I might watch Thor again! Because it's in Britain at the moment. But not America. And it totally has an amazing post credit scene. And an awesome cameo. And the film is actually good beyond all that stuff.

But anyway, Jason Statham for the innevitable sequel which I believe they're making.

Well... he liked No More Heroes, Mario Galaxy, didn't complain to much about Red Steel 2... it's not like he gave every exclusive Wii game a bad review. And it's also not like Bob gave every silly actionmovie a bad review.

I kind of stopped listening when he decided to insult everyone who thought they might enjoy some of the movie instead of explaining why the movie doesn't work. MovieBob, your job is to review movies and not be a jerk to their fan-base.

That's really why I can't take you seriously, you dwell on the fan-base and call them morons just because you like a certain thing. This makes the rest of your review null and void (at least to me) because it just seems like you're being unprofessional and have a grudge against a certain group of people.

If you're after a good driving film (bio/doc) in the near future, hold out for Senna [//www.imdb.com/title/tt1424432/].
