We'd still be stuck in caves as all the smart people would be being distracted by sex....

God damnit, I need a girlfriend!

Well, I knew you were gonna hate this but... Yeah... Devon Aoki. I kinda lost the jist of what you were saying and then, yeah, about what you were saying... Yeah... Ellen Page...

I DID laugh at the bit at the end though. I genuinely thought you were gonna defend yourself. I approve most heartily :)

Megan Fox... *throws up in mouth*

I'll watch this eventually, hoping it's so bad it becomes a joke in itself from which I can get some cheap laughs.

BOB: please get a different microphone, I always have a hard time to understand what you're saying. :(

I saw the trailer for this before District 9 the other week and the girl I was with practically begged me to go see it with her. Looked like the biggest pile of shit horror for a while but if it gets me some action I may have to go see this one...

Oh and she's not gay for Megan Fox (I think), just has terrible taste in films.

It seems the hype is going to be her own downfall, I mean after Transformers everyone was talking about her, now their realising there isn't really anything there. If she went by unoticed maybe she would have been more respected as an actress rather than just a pin up.

I know why you reviewed this, because Megan Fox is in it and that is all. She may be hot but she's dumb as a brick(her interviews prove that).
I thought the brick was smarter then Megan Fox?
Yeah at least a brick has some use....and is probably a better actress.
I wonder what the brick looks like in a low top dress?

Wait, it's a horror flick? I thought it was an autobiographical film about Meagan Fox. Yes, I saw the trailers, why do you ask? :p

I knew this movie was going to suck, but I'm going to rent it some day, as it seemed like one of those "so bad it may be funny" movies like S.Darko or The Orphan.

And let's all be honest here... the 90s were better than the 80s and 2000s(so far). There were great cartoon shows and people weren't stupidly paranoid about anything except global warming and a promiscuous president. I miss those days.

Nerds would be working towards building a better world instead of commiting suicide or spending their life in front of a computer.

Anyway. I think that Jenifer's Body is going to be the first film to where non-english speakers will enjoy a dubbing that is actually better than the original version.

Jesus Christ, stop bashing Transformers so much. We get it, you didn't like those films. Quite a few people (myself included) actually enjoyed them.
That's why he is still bashing Transformers, until people finally understand how bad those movies are. I actually saw the first one, and it was so bad that, for the first time, I decided that I would not see the second one, not even for $3.

This franchise is so bad, in so many ways that it's impossible to mention all of them. The most shocking to me was the massive worldwide advertisement it was for american weaponry. It almost looked like it was the purpose of the movie at times "Hey, people, check out how awesome our helicopters are !" "You've seen that AC-130 Gunship ? You can buy us one, we're gonna sold our old ones in a decade". The Transformers are invading the earth, and yet the only ones we see fighting are... US forces. It's even more ridiculous when it happends in the middle-east. What happened to the Qatari armed forces damnit ?

Roland Emmerich is sometimes jerking-off on US weaponry as well (Independance Day), but at least in his movies, we see people from other countries. With Michael Bay, the only foreign people we see are just there to look at how awesome the US are (Armageddon)... It can become pretty annoying.

Seriously, I don't know how Michael Bay managed to make a decent movie with "The Island"

By the way, the 90s were a great period for video games. They looked like shit, but there were innovations all over the place in many popular genres... unlike what we see know.

Probably ploughing fields and paying taxes to our landlords because men like Tesla, Edison, Einstein and so on we're pre-ocuppied with getting laid instead of inventing things to impress women with.

Edison's first attempt at a pick up line: How would you like to make my lightbulb glow.

megan fox is something i like to call "movie hot". a competent director can make her look hot on film, but she isn't nearly as attractive in real life.

i figured this out after wasting my college think Kristen Kreuk was attractive because of her cameo in Eurotrip.

Didn't they come out and say that this movie was supposed to be shit? Like, they weren't taking it seriously at all? I don't know, maybe I'm just imagining things. I still would like to see this just to get a good laugh. Probably a rent. Unless someone pays for my ticket.

Run that one past me again? The Island was terrible. Yeah, the idea was kinda cool, but then we had crap like the excessive product placement. On an island full of clones. Who will never buy things. And then there's friggin genetic memory, which is never even commented upon, it's just thrown out with no explanation.

Tesla, Edison, Einstein
I don't know about Edison and Tesla, but for the record, Einstein was married way before he published any of his major theories.

As for the island, I agree, there were giant holes in the plot and atrocious product placement, and it was derivative from THX 1138. However, it wasn't a purely BAD movie in my opinion. The basic ideas were interesting, the art direction was good, the actors were good (at least as far as I remember) and there were a few interesting plot twists even if they seemed a bit cliché, and it wasn't badly shot (but in a very conventionnal way most of the time).

I don't think it was a bad movie like Transformers or Armageddon were.

The sad thing about Megan Fox I can't help myself to lower my IQ. I have a small part fratboy in me. That fratboy takes over when ever I see Megan Fox. I can't say she's terrible actor, because I fall into the zone where I don't care.

However! I had a moment in Transformers 2 that I didn't care for Megan Fox. http://www.tkbbblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/isabel-lucas.jpg

That's right. A more beautiful girl came in the picture.

EDIT: Finally saw Jennifer's body and I thought it was funny. It enters my "so bad its good" category.
