I figured from the trailer that this would be Ben Stiller trying to preempt the last sequel of the Shawn of the Dead, Hot Fuzz series. Which was never going to turn out well, so at least it turns out I wasnt missing anything by writing it off

Hahah....wait, you didn't put the 'sarcasm' picture after "4 very funny actor'. The only funny actor out of those 4 is Richard Ayoade. The other three are some of my least favorite actors in Hollywood. I was so excited to see Ayoade in a movie that I was willing to over look them but this review confirmed my suspicions about this movie.

I heard Vince Vaughn and Jonah Hill were in it and gave it a miss.

And don't get me started on the new Superman XP

Don't forget if you saw his review of MIB3 he hated that for repeating an overly done formula. (Despite that formula done years or so apart.) While he later got excited for Power Rangers in the credits. (A show that beat a formula to death on a daily basis.)

As for The Watch i found it okay. Not good enough to recommend to others. But fun enough for me to enjoy leaving my apartment.

What happened to you Ben Stiller?

I honestly don't see a difference between The Watch and any of the other criminally unfunny stuff for which Ben Stiller is responsible. He single-handedly ruined what would have otherwise been a fantastic movie in at least one instance, and his one kind of sort of okay performance was only fun because it embraced just how stupid he always looks on-screen.

In short, nothing happened to Ben Stiller. He's always sucked.

Hey now, Zoolander and Dodgeball were funny, but not just because of Stiller himself. It's a team effort from his costars and some well-timed cameos. But yeah, Vaughn shoud stick to comedy. Even though Vaugn & Stiller were together again, this one didn;t work for me this time.

Jonah Hill: How does he keep convincing producers that he's funny?

Ben Stiller: Overacting isn't comedy, it's just bad acting. Sometimes people laugh at bad acting but usually not then the person's doing it because he's trying too hard to be funny. See also Will Farrell.

Vince Vaughn: Come On, Vinny Baby, of the three I get the feeling you might at least have potential. You've done more serious roles, maybe comedy's just not your thing.

Sorry, but Man of Steel kinda sucked. Not nearly as bad as Green Lantern, but it's obvious that Warner Brothers still has no idea about how to make a decent non-Batman superhero movie.
